Which is why after being overloaded by Senjutsu chakra the Preta path turned to stone.. So obviously it isn't some alternate dimension deal. But yes, the Preta Path's rate of absorption and how much it can absorb is superior to Samehada... But it doesn't make a different here.

Absorption is the same. The chakra is being stored/dispersed in both entities absorbing the chakra. One being the Rinnegan doesn't grant the Preta Path some immunity to Senjutsu's side effects, as we've seen. The fact of the matter here is that once fused and Kisame is forced to confront any Senjutsu filled attack, his chakra reserves will be far too high to "unbalance" with Senjutsu which would give him the same negative side effects as The Preta Path encountered.

I'd like to debate this, but it's pretty late. I'll just leave my humble opinion.
Either way it's a very difficult battle.
Orochimaru can(note, I didn't say would) win as long as the battle doesn't draw on, due to his summonings I think. His snakes could overwhelm him.
However, as the battle draws out, the more and more of a disadvantage Orochimaru gets.
Oh, and the amount of damage Kusanagi can inflict on Samehada is pretty important. But either way we'd only be guessing.

Oro and Jiraiya stand a chance at least, Tsunade will be defeated easily.
1. She can't poison that much amount of water doom, it looks illogical to me.
2. Tsunade has 'lighting affinity' at the best, she isn't master of lightning release, so she I doubt if she can send electric current to that much amount of water.
3. Katsuyu will be taken care by shark.
