Seether, evanscenes, guns N' roses, three days grace, disturbed (**** yeah) nightWish, avenged sevenfold, Red, within temptation, cradle of filth, mudvayne, vertical horizon, iron maiden, deftones, escape the fate (love a few of their songs) skillet, puddle of mudd, I like drowning pool too (I know I don't fukin like the bodies, but some of their songs are good) Five finger death punch, papa roach (a selected few) and some others to name.

Edit: can't believe I left out, metorhead, black sabbath and pantera, I'll add these.

Not even lol. Falling in the reverse's lead singer ronnie who sang for escape the fate is as emo and p*ssy at they come. Same with pierce the veil, botdf, etc. All bands that people who wear makeup, cut themselves, and cry about how daddy left listen too.

Metalcore can either be rooted in metal like KSE, August Burns Red, Protest the Hero (progressive metalcore), Between the Buried and Me (everything from Colors onwards is progressive metalcore) or it can be rooted in hardcore punk like Earth Crisis, Integrity, Gaza, Converge etc.
lolz and deathcore is a sub-genre of death metal. Heck, some of the most important death metal bands like Suffocation used breakdowns.

Glam metal has nothing in common with metal on a stylistic level.

A metalcore (a genre either rooted in metal or hardcore punk) band like Parkway Drive has nothing to do with emotional hardcore (emo) and self-harm.

That's funny because I'm pretty sure Kirk Wahmett wore makeup/eyeliner in the Load era. lol and can't forget the countless pretentious black metal musicians who placed image over music like Watain, Immortal and whatnot by wearing makeup/corpsepaint.
