Anutu, or Divine Authority, or Divinity is a Divine energy source derived from the primordial Void, forming the basis for the power wielded by the gods when they ordered the universe. This specific form of Divinity powers the denizens of Eanna, a sect of Celestial Divinities known as the Annunaki that include Anu, Shamash, and Nannar. Today, Anutu is wielded not only by the Celestials but also by humans that have come in contact with them, earning their favor. Anutu and Divinity can be thought of as the antipode of Chakra that was introduced by Kaguya and Hagoromo. Divinity naturally overpowers pure forms of Chakra, most notably Yin-Yang Release; this is because Chakra forms the basis for ‘Creation’ but Divinity forms the basis for ‘Order.’ In a more metaphorical sense, if Chakra is that which creates what is in the Universe then Divinity is what is responsible for creating the universe itself. Anutu is divided into two different sub-skills: Utu and Suen. Utu, also known as Truth, is governed by the god Shamash, God of the Sun. Utu is a dark red-orange lava-like liquid substance. Suen, also known as Wisdom, is governed by the god Nannar, God of the Moon. Suen is a cyan-blue-white sand. Anutu is physically manifested as a golden mist. The ability to control Divinity by humans is performed through their Chakra, using lesser forms of it to access it similar to how a Child of Tiamat uses their Chakra to tap into the Sea of Life. Anutu and its components are able to interact with, harm, and kill Divine beings. ​

Restrictions:​

• Requires Forbidden Ranked Ability Mission/Trip to Eanna
• A member must be Jounin rank and have Fuinjutsu in order to learn a component of Anutu.
• Anutu and its components are earned through a series of Forbidden Ranked Ninja World Ability Missions (AM) that typically involve traveling to Eanna.
• Anutu and its components cannot be copied or consumed to be replicated. This includes Urashiki and other customs that would normally allow something to be reproduced, even if the user has not mastered it.
• Users of Anutu can create five customs for it. Utu and Suen customs are unlimited. No field with Anutu can be taught.
• Access to Anutu or any of its components restricts access to any component of Yin-Yang Release, and vice versa.
• For the time being Anutu, Suen, and Utu based Custom Elements are prohibited.

Suen, also known as Wisdom, is the form of Divinity governed by Nannar, the God of the Moon. Suen manifests as a cyan-blue-white sand that is comparable to moondust. Physically the cosmic sand is electrically charged, volatile when in contact with heat, and extremely abrasive. Suen as Divinity governs Divine physicality; it is derived from the cosmic forces that created the physical bodies of the gods themselves, their Divine Cores, and their physical manifestations. If Yang is the energy that governs physical energy, symbolic for the body, light, vitality, and life, then Suen is the power that governs the Divine body. By nature Suen is immensely powerful and interacts with chakra differently than most abilities, having an inherent advantage over it. In simplest terms, Suen affords Divinity to the user’s physicality and their enemies. For the user, this might confer strengthened anatomy, augmentations to their abilities, empowered Divine life force, and control over the ‘ordering’ of their body. Against the user’s enemies, Suen causes their anatomy, life force, and body to become Divine. This drawback manifests similarly to how the Champions of Humanity were forced to use an Unstable Divine Core to heal Ereshkigal; because of her Divinity normal Chakra could not interact with it. By applying Suen to an enemy the user effectively renders their enemy unable to heal themselves with normal Chakra because they have applied some level of Divinity. In essence, it is because the enemy’s Chakra cannot interact with the Divinity they are affected by.

Abilities:

• Neutral to all abilities with the exception of the strength it holds against Yang Release and elements or abilities derived from it
• Suen is able to interact with, harm, and kill Divine beings
• Suen has increased damage and chakra consumption, similar to Yin-Yang Release
• Suen is an electrically charged sand, making it a potent combination with other liquid-elemental natures that are potent conductors like Water Release. When Suen comes in contact with a source of heat it has the tendency to explode
• Suen is extremely abrasive, causing bleeding damage to those it directly hits or inhaled. This amounts to a loss of 10 and 15 Health Points per turn, respectively
• Due to its unique nature and interaction with Chakra, Suen can be drained of the Chakra that manipulates it but it cannot be sealed by Fuuinjutsu or other similar abilities

Utu, also known as Truth, is the form of Divinity governed by Shamash, the God of the Sun. Utu manifests as a dark and fiery lava-like liquid substance. It is theorized that Utu manifests as a lava-like substance because it is closely related to the Sea of Life, which is also derived from primordial Divinity. The Sea of Life is a mud-like substance with a consistency that is comparable to lava without the extreme heat. Physically, Utu is extremely hot, yet it is also extremely efficient at snuffing out other sources of heat like fire and lava. Utu is extremely powerful and interacts with Chakra differently from most other abilities, having an inherent advantage over it. Utu as Divinity governs Divine spirituality and the soul; Utu is derived from the cosmic forces utilized by Nergal when he created the human soul thousands of years ago. If Yin is the energy that governs spiritual energy, symbolic for the mind, darkness, imagination, and creation, then Utu is the power that governs the Divine spirit. Utu affords the user the power to target, manipulate, and damage the soul. This is done by afflicting the soul with a type of lesser Divinity, preventing it from being healed through chakra and spiritual based healing unless it possesses its own Divinity. At its highest form Utu can be even used to create souls, a power that is derived from Nergal’s Authority. It can negate the effects of Yin Release and other high tier Spiritual abilities like Tsukuyomi, Izanagi, and Izanami. The user can engineer Utu to fortify their own spirit, using their inherent Divinity to become resistant or even outright immune to certain types of spiritual techniques and damage .​

• Utu is toxic to those who lack their own Divinity, causing it to inflict 15 Health Points as Spiritual damage to all those struck by it per turn. This effect can only be stopped through Anutu or Atavistic techniques.
• Due to its unique nature and interaction with Chakra, Utu can be sealed by Fuuinjutsu and other similar abilities but it cannot be drained or absorbed.

It is the purest form of Divinity that a human can harness, only outclassed by Divinities held by the original Pantheon and beyond. Those who come to acquire Anutu and Yin-Yang Release become physical representations of the Twin Pillars of Existence - the union between Divinity and Creation, effectively becoming demigods in their own right. Humans unable to achieve this are still able to harness Anutu, controlling it through lesser forms of their chakra similar to how a Child of Tiamat harnesses the Sea of Life. If Yin-Yang Release is the energy which governs ‘Creation’ then Anutu, Divinity, is the power that governs ‘Order.’ It is, in the purest sense, the power to order the objective universe in accordance to the user’s subjective will. The phrase “reality is a fine tapestry, only the strongest weave it” applies to Anutu.

Anutu manifests as a golden mist. As a mist it lacks any inherent physical properties like heat and conductivity. This is because Anutu is closer to primordium, making it more akin to a blank slate than Suen or Utu are. Suen and Utu have, to some extent, been ‘ordered’ by being derived from Anutu. This gives them more defined physical properties than Anutu. Anutu has an extremely potent advantage against purer forms of chakra. Its core application is the power to ‘order’ the universe through the user’s subjective will. It is, in its purest sense, the manifestation of the user’s own Authority. The user’s Authority is capable of many feats that control the objective universe, represented by the golden mist establishing order over a specific area. Anything within that area becomes subject to the user’s Authority; the user becomes able to manipulate gravity and other physical laws, negate certain fields that others might have access to, establish or wrest control over a technique in their Authority, or even use the Anutu directly as an offensive weapon.​

Abilities:​

• Anutu holds a double strength to Raw and Pure Chakra, most notably Yin-Yang Release and non-elemental Ninjutsu. This manifests as an effective +40 damage against these abilities. Against elemental Ninjutsu and Advanced Elements Anutu holds neutrality
• Creations formed from Pure Chakra take critical damage on contact with Anutu. This includes Bijuu, Creation of All Things, Yang Release familiars, Yin Release spirits, and elemental Yang Release familiars.
• Anutu holds the unique Chakra resistant properties that both Suen and Utu do; it is immune to strictly Chakra-based clashes, unable to be sealed or absorbed. This mandates that clashes must occur strictly through damage or evasion.
• The golden mists of Anutu cannot be dispersed like a Sand or Water Release mist would. The mist represents the user’s Authority over an area or object and can only be overcome through direct clash that overpowers its effects.
