This thing is a whole mess to be honest. It is not your fault, it is not our fault, everything is just inconsistent. Who could've said they would mention filler events in todays episodes? SP doesn't know what they are doing. Sarada fighting was great, sure but the consistency is just out of the window once again.

Here is the problem, no one is saying you can't enjoy it, just don't impose the canon perspective on other people when they clearly have their reasons to disagree, when you have yours to think it is canon. So this is basically you + 3 minions vs 30 guys/girls and the rest of the forum is neutral.

Kind of made sense, there is this Sakura affinity to genjutsu etc but it was a bit of a stretch. Sarada is great 'tho! Everything can be explained by her higher intellect btw.. Not saying the contrary, we just need Manga validation now.

Raiga Kurosuki is a canon character because the manga revealed him to be one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen. However, Naruto meeting him or Buntan Kurosuki being his daughter is Filler because it was never mentioned in the manga.

I wouldn't call them morons though, since they're basically printing hot cash with zero effort or thought given about the continuity of the series.

The same goes for Toei and their heavy hitters, (Dragon Ball, Digimon, etc) they're just marketing the hell out of everything they have, be it canon or filler.

Raiga took the title prior to the event of Might Dai going 8th gate. Might Gai was a young child back then. You would think somewhere between that time line that Raiga was replaced and Ameryo Ringo took that spot if we go by the manga however the Anime completely contradicted it when they refer it to the event of Raiga when he shouldn't be alive when Naruto was a academy- genin.

People say the Last is canon, but I disagree. Jougan is Filler. No one can change my mind on that. Jougan is not even official. The Manga has yet to reveal anything about the eye.
