I used to care about all this, but then you see Kishimoto putting Raiga into the manga, and then both him and Kodachi approving of the Bolt anime as canon (Jougan and Mist arcs at the VERY least), wherein we see Kakashi's Purple Lightening and Blood Prison from Kakashi Hiden, Hinata's Food contest skills from the Omakes, and now even references to Part 1 anime-exclusive arcs in the Bolt anime supervised and monitered by Kodachi and Kishimoto, and you have to ask yourself if it's worth all the arguing back and forth? I mean, sure inconsistencies exist between the anime and manga due to the additional arcs, but that applies to the manga itself to begin with.

As far as I'm concerned, all anime exclusive arcs are canon, because that shout out from Buntan to the Raiga Arc was supervised and approved of by both Kodachi and Kshimoto.

In the manga, Naruto leaves Konoha for his three year training as soon as he's healed up from his fight with Sasuke. In the anime they find some bogus excuse to have him stay and use that to go into a few filler arcs, including the Raiga Kurosuki one. Canonically, that Arc couldn't have happened as there was never time for Naruto to stay in Konoha and do so.

Raiga is a canon character. this doesn't prove anything. and also they can't ignore things that actually happened concerning her father in the anime and also

In the anime they find some bogus excuse to have him stay and use that to go into a few filler arcs, including the Raiga Kurosuki one. Canonically, that Arc couldn't have happened as there was never time for Naruto to stay in Konoha and do so.

Yeah I remember now the Raiga Arc was filler (even though him as a character is not), so they mentioned it in the Manga huh , a filler arc. To some on here they'll still try and argue against it.

However, in the naruto manga, Ameryo ringo was the last wielder of the kiba sword and they retcon in this episode when the whole event with Raiga vs Neji, Lee, Tenten and Naruto that took place in the filler arc.

Bold: Which happens in filler right? The fact that the anime took the liberty to bring this up means that this whole hidden mist arc in the anime doesn't fit the continuity to the overall canon storyline.

This thing is a whole mess to be honest. It is not your fault, it is not our fault, everything is just inconsistent. Who could've said they would mention filler events in todays episodes? SP doesn't know what they are doing. Sarada fighting was great, sure but the consistency is just out of the window once again.

Naruto never met Raiga.
