Well I always knew tobi was never Madara but anyways what if Tobi is the 3rd son of the Sage of Six paths. You know how both sons have a saying like "Love/Strength is crucial to Peace". What if Tobi's saying is something like "Intelligence is crucial to Peace" Since he knows all about the history of the clans and all the powers of Rinnegan and Sharingan. What if he created something to make him immortal or not age. Tell me what you think :D

Ok....look at this...

If Tobi was the Sage's "3rd son":
"He would be extremely old" Why wait so many years to commit to his plan?
From the looks of things, Tobi's plan only originated around Madara's generation., which would be hundreds of years after the Sage's death( ( a very loong time to wait to do his plan ).

If he was The Sage's son, he wouldn't have needed to read the Stone Tablet to find out about the Sage's history, let alone use Rinnegan to read it if his Father wrote it. He would've known much about his Father's history naturally, since he lived in his genration.

What I'm saying is, the timing in which he decided to act on a plan on this scale so late in the game doesnt make since. And the way Tobi went about things doesnt fit with whats happened. This wouldnt be a "good twist" because it doesnt make any sense.

I think it would be awsome if this theory proved correct, although honestly I have no opinion on how likely it really is... would have to think about it

I know it's very unlikely, I was just saying, in fact I can only come up with an answer to a few of those question:

1. he lived long because he combined the brothers DNA but had to wait for the opportunity

2. he couldn't read the tablet, because he was born without any inheritance from the sage's power, and thus felt left out.

3. he hated both clans, senju and uchiha, but had to wait because they were to mighty, now with only a few of them left because of all the fighting over the years and they were now all part of one village, he saw this as an opportunity. he basically watched them kill thenselves over the years

4. now he wants to destroy konoha to completely wipe away the senju, he already wiped put the uchiha by helping itachi

What I'm saying is...if he was one of the Sages Sons, he wouldnt need to read the tablet, because he lived in his Father's time.

But you have a point though. I still find it highly unlikely.

actually the tablet is only for the sage's eyes to read... so the younger son couldnt read it himself

So what your saying is...for hundreds of years, ninja were so much stronger than him, Tobi didnt want to make a move? In between The Sage's death, his Sons death and the present days is a looong time. I doubt he would've waited that long.

P.S, I like the one about the Byakugan child. xd

this theory is actually sounding kinda good, I suggest that you make another thread with everything that has been said so far, you can probably even include the byakugan thing, though you should probably ask @the eye first, he may want you to give him credit for it.

I think this theory deserves another shot
