The UK had more violent crimes than the us last year and their gun policy is way more strict than america.

We have pretty strict gun laws here in aus and i wonder how our school shooting poll is compared to the us

A tool is defined by how its used. I can use a gun as a table stand. Whether or not it is effective in its use, ill admit, is related to its intended use. But guns historically were made as a tool of self defence, guns didn't have stopping power enough to kill when first created so they were just PURPOSED to scare away attacks

So then why do we argue about gun laws in such a trenched subject, when in all honesty i could build a mustard gas bomb out of house hold items that would kill way more people than any amount of bullets. Seriously?! I am 17 and I am one of the stupidest people I know. I dont understand why we are afraid of guns. We should be afraid of people who go postal. Because If i want to go postal i could do it in FAR worse ways than with a bullet. We should build institutions to combat violent natures not tubes of metal and powder.

Cuz:

• Without guns -> Only people smart and with abilities to do so can kill
• With guns -> Anyone can kill people

Basicly it doesn't end the killing but will decrease it

I agree but you should have said that before hand. Taking guns away doesnt help. Taking guns from batshit crazy people does. And I dont know where you live but I have seen cops gun down innocent citizens. You ever watch a guy die? You dont have to believe me or even listen but I know for a fact an empty gun makes you feel safer than if no one had a gun.

The other facts are from a book about world murder rates and violent crimes in 1st world countries in the past 15 years. But good job you do have a lick of intilect. Sorry, here in australia we like to know our facts before we tend to debate or argue about an issue. I apologise for assuming you would do the same. If you cant give a sauce, i highly doubt that the statistics for child shootings are 'about the same' because i cant find one
