[Discussion] Animes You Misjudged/Hated and Eventually Liked

We have all done it either for one reason or another but most of us anime watchers have had that one anime/manga we didn't like watching or reading at first but later loved this are my top two list.

1. One piece: I started watching the anime and i hated it, first the graphics were shitty and not only that the drawings of the characters like luffy and usopp looked so childish and cartoonish that it made me regret ever laying eyes on it and even more so when i saw luffy swinging and stretching his arms like a retarded monkey,but due to my peers and mainly people on this site always hyping one piece, i persevered and now i am up to date with the anime, i download a new episode as its released and not only have the drawings been worked on they story line is even way more interesting.

2.Bleach: Yeah it all seemed too "unreal' to me the whole hollow crap and what not, but recently i started watching it and from the moment renji came with rukia brother to capture her to where ichigo and the rest broke into soil society im loving it.

How about you guys which animes have you misjudged but ended up liking?

Attack on titan i was going to quit because it was really boring in the beginning but turned it out to be one of my favourite animes.

Pretty much the same ones as you, but I even misjudged Naruto way back when at first.

BLEACH: it looked kinda cool to me , but I was watching enough Swordsman stuff.. <.<
PLUS I saw that guy with the pink and green strings coming from his eye area.. O__O I was like
DEATH NOTE: didn't wanna watch guys in suits and stuff that wasn't action packed I guess.
but good golly was it a blessing to finally read chapter 000 of the manga. I got the realization that it was rather nice.
Then I watched Episode 1 of the anime and after 5 minutes I was HOOKED>.:bouncy:
I knew it was something really special. and genius. and beautiful. KIRAAAAAAAAAAAAAA:O

TRIGUN: I saw Vash(guy in my sig in red) then I saw some of the anime.. BOOOOOORING~yawn
I was so disappointed... all the potential wasted.. :T_T: then I saw the LAST episode and I went sooooooo oh em gee & oh mai gawd ^_^ and I finally finished the manga like months ago I think.
phew~ I must say I wish I could have made the anime as good as the manga and better.
the last episode of the anime is the most beautiful thing ever..:flowers

GUNDAM WING: I was like its cool but I don't appreciate it I guess. gundams were fun to draw and stuff though :] I liked some characters. NOW I LUV it!!! after I watched all the episodes over again.

COWBOY BEBOP: OH MAI GAWD!!!!!!! I didn't want to cuz of the words COWBOY and BEBOP. 2 things I didn't want anything to do with. then I watched and listened and fell in love.

One Piece - I saw the dubbed version and thought it was stupid and never gave it a try but when I did I have enjoyed every episode after they got in grand line not saying there wasnt any entertaining episodes before but after the grand line it's been EPIC

Loool, Same goes for me, i wasnt really a fan of AOT but my friend introduced it to me, and first i too had that reaction but i just love the action and the planning and eren turning into a titan was so beast

Berserk , did not really like the first episode , but I continued and it was a real masterpiece.
the quality seemed shiity and I thought it was just about a mindless barbarian who would slash down his enemies for 26 episodes

I also had my doubts about fairytail which was extinguished immediately i decided to give it a try, i mean real try not quitting after the first 10 episodes, but is it just me or is everyone on the base now a fan of AOT? The base even makes me to watch new animes after hearing from other members taught, that's why i started hunter x hunter and its been great since, but the green island ark...meh....

The title made me think of slavery, and then i saw the first episode on netflix and was meh about it

Second one blew me away, and the first arc is one of the best in anime, and now i'm obsessed
