What makes good animation? Who dictates what good animation is? I took a flash animation class. At what point am I qualified to deem whether artwork is good or not?

The other characteristcs are usually related to the movement, drawing and details. They can be better analysed by those who knows the principles of drawing. Following basic physics rules for exemple are something that improves the movement of your animation.
The rest, I don't know how to explain well, because I'm not good at it.

I thought the animation of Pain was average. The distorted objectification of his body shows extreme speed in motion. Nothing bad there. I thought he was well colored and the stenciling was fine. Again, all of that is your opinion. It's not a fact that it's bad. You look at it and say it's bad, I look at it and say it's fine. Completely subjective, as all art is.

The movement in which he says "my pain is far greater than yours"? It's not good. If you say that, you have 0 knowledge about movement. That movement was stiff, and it even seemed as if it was lagging. The rest was indeed kinf of fluid, but some movements didn't make any sense(like the time he became a dolphin or the one in which he became roadrunner).

You can think whatever you want. Good artists and animators can make a complete analysis and shut you up. you'll run out of arguments and all you'll have it "But I thought it was good", which proves nothing. Your opinion doesn't change reality.

It's called basic understanding of reality. If we have X=Y, and Y=/=Z, then X can't =Z. However, if in my opinion, X=Z, I am wrong, if the 2 others can be proved. However, if opinions were never wrong, if opinions were always right, then i could say X=Z because it's my opinion. But considering that situation, nature would have a flaw in it's logic, reality would be flawed, and thus, nothing would make sense.

Opinions are just an idea, an empty idea. It can be taken as fact nor as an argument. It holds nothing.

Uh...nobody in their right mind would look at Pain's animations during the Six Tailed Naruto fight and say it was "fine".The old 'it's subjective" arguement that so many people like to use when disputing something that's factual cannot be used when something is bad and there is evidence to prove it.

There was'nt alot of high speed movement in the Hashirama VS Madara battle so that fight should be okay.It's the Juubito VS Naruto/Minato,Tobirama and Sasuke fight I'm worried about since there is alot of scenes where high speed action is involved and the anime is terrible when it comes to showing anything moving at high speeds.

"Everything is subjective" is the biggest load of BS I've ever heard.People actually use it to defend something that's terrible nowadays and ignore any and all facts put before them.

I expect to see alot of weird blurry character models like the Pain vs Six Tailed Naruto fight when it comes to Juubito.It's obvious the anime has trouble rendering those scenes correctly.
