TNK sucks but i do love high school DxD...

High school DxD has been a master piece and they have been loyal to the LN so far so i guess they're redeem themselves little by little, no thanks to school days lmao.

OT: Another anime that came to my mind is Higurashi.

Yes it's from 2006 but trust me on this one, this anime will go make you WTF.

4.Phantom Requiem for phantom(I currently watching it till epi 9 it has been good,)
5.Serial Experiments lain(currently watching and till epi 4 it has been awesome too)

Only ones I can think of I don't see here are Steins;Gate and Eden of the East (has two films that follow it needed to reach the ending). They're probably the best thrillers since Death Note and Monster, and I highly recommend their dubs (especially Steins;Gate).

Mushishi may very well be up your ally, too. The first season came out back in '06-'07, but the second finished just recently and they're both fantastic.
