Animation downfall

Yeah the episode where sasuke kills danzo or the episode b4 they switched if u look at there faces closely u can see the change and it looks really bad compared to b4

I think the animation looks great, when did they get a new animator or whatever?
The only big difference in animation that I've ever noticed is the switch from Naruto to Naruto Shippuden, where it improved. I also noticed it seemed to have gotten slightly better just recently, but I'm not sure exactly when. Either way, I think the animation has done nothing but improve over the years.
Oh, except for during Naruto's fight with Pain. I loved the Bugs Bunny-esque thing where Naruto picked up the huge rock or whatever and started smashing Pain into the ground, but I disliked all the weird stretchy faces Pain made whenever he did anything.

I don't see anything wrong. The only bad animation for me was during Pain vs 6 tails. and one of the fillers in part 1. Mainly the Pain fight.

atleast its better than pain and naruto with 6tail .totally its not bad but sometime animation really sucks.but as i said only sometimes.so no more scratch on new animation.
They use different animation groups for certain episodes and they did the same in the first part of the series. The naruto pain episode is the same group that animated the team 10 vs Hidan/kakuzu rnd 2 episodes and the Jiraiya/pain ep.. I personally like their animating style, yeah the faces look a little jacked, especially some of the faces pain made, buuuut the flow of the animation is SICK, seriously sick, look past the goofy faces and just focus on the action, you'll see what I'm talking about.
I agree and anime was never ment to be movie-like or realistic. It's kinda a form of art. Pain's face deforming like that reminds me of old cartoons and is pretty good to express the anger so visually like that.
For people who think all these eps are done by the same people that's rediculous. too much work in too little time. Whole sets of episodes or even arcs are done by different teams. So that's why the animation can skip from time to time. Anime is more like a colleboration of different artists where the manga is the work of 1 person/artist.

i dont think the animators have changed i think theyve just improved its looking better every ep i recon besides the pain fight but i still loved tht fight anyways yeah if you look from the 1st series to now the animation is so much better
I agree. The animation really is going downhill, if you compare it to before. What happened to all the CGI and good quality they used to use? :[
And it's really starting to p*ss me off. I used to look forward to Thursdays, because we get a manga chapter and a new Shippuden episode. Now, I'm losing all hope in the anime. Completely :l

yes, i agree aswell...but more than that the last 2 eps are 1/4 new material an 3/4 of dam flash backs...
k-mon if the dam animaters dont want to work...dont do the episode like that...i've hadit with the anime, im gonna wait till gai vs kisame final bout...

For some reason, I feel like waiting for the Gai vs Kisame final might be a downer too :/ So far, all the battles I looked forward to disappointed me badly.
I can't even begin to imagine how the War is going to turn out.
If TV Tokyo keeps this up, let's all plan a coup de tat

First time I noticed these animations was at the fight of Naruto v Sasuke in the original series. I think they do this because it's easier to animate high speed animation scenes/episodes.
I could be totally wrong, but it seems logical to me... =P
