This is why, this is why I'm not....hot.
Today's featured film: Dark Shadows
After an evil witch curses Barnabus Collins (Johnny Depp) to be a vampire for eternity, she locks him away in a casket. After two centuries, he returns to find that his world is not how he left it. With gas stations, motor vehicles, televisions, and blood relatives several generations from his own, he must confront the witch that imprisoned him years ago.
"Dark Shadows" was an entertaining film with an interesting plot, with a slight bit of a nostalgic classic 1980's vampire feeling. My few complaints were the constant reoccuring of events (such as Barnabus Collins constantly trying to explain how he came to still exist in the 20th century). Also, I had a distate for the very ending scene involving the final battle between Barnabus and the witch. I won't spoil it. It was good. (7/10)
This film is rated rated PG-13 for comic horror violence, sexual content, some drug use, language and smoking.
