Android problems!

Why i cant install apps with lower android requirements(e.x. 2.1 when my android is 2.3 software).The outcome is always "sorry!The app closed unexpecedly" warning message...anyone know how i bypass that or fix it?
P.s.:The answer "throw your android away" is not viable option

Had this problem with My HTC hero...It would Force close on a Variety of apps..I never did find out to why it happened because i just decided to get a Better phone with Updated Software...but i'd say the phone is not Updated. I tried doing so when an option was Available but it never really did anything. It would state it had updated but the problem still presented itself.

Umm you either got a download on you device conflicting with the app, to many apps, or the apps has a bug

Many different possibilities, to include deprecated/different libraries/dependencies needed. Look at the package you want to install, and search for deps. ie gcc 4.4 deps.
