Logically Goku should utterly stomp but with power scaling in the anime it's really hard to tell just how much stronger 17 has gotten.

People don't actually think that a full power SSB Goku is on par with 17 do they? Goku wasn't going all out against most of the people he fought during that training. Beerus also "seemed" to have been going all out against God Goku when in reality Beerus is still far above even Blue let alone SSG.

OT: If we stick to logic, SS god goku completely wrecks android 17. He only used SSB to show off. We've seen him use his SSB on a much weaker level before, for example when he struggled with Krillin's kamehameha, lol.

Let's see how the manga cleans up this power level mess.

There are inconsistencies, but it shouldn't be hard to discern fact from falsity.

Your correct but 17 is the only person who didn't go all out on goku to which the writers said twice within the show. I do not think 17 can defeat ssb goku but he is def in that ball park. The same could be said for gohan if he taps into his warrior spirit.
Goku also said he didn't plan on using that form and that he felt like he was forced to use it to keep up with what 17 was throwing at him. Regardless of the exact power level of 17 (I honestly doubt we will ever find that out because of inconsistency), no writer would continuesly bring up the fact that both chars weren't going on all out if they weren't comparable in strength (for that form and at that time)
