anybody here at the base a fan of the show?

i enjoy the show, it's entertaining. but the past couple seasons have been a little.....meh. seems like they're trying to hard to make connections. but some of those seasons has had some decent episodes. the NASA connection is one of my favorites. the one with Leonardo Da Vinci was a good one to. the first 2 seasons were good and contain most of my favorite episodes.

i dont hang on every word they say. i dont believe every claim and theory they make but some make sense. i do believe in aliens. probability alone suggests that we may not be alone in this universe. kinda hard to believe that this vast universe solely exists for us.

i watch the show for its entertaining value and not really for its "educational" and "historical" facts. parts of the show are historically educational though.

5,000 years ago when man was walking around in leopard underwear aliens was flying around in the sky like it was nothing but human didn't know any better so they called them gods and such. Aliens are very real.

I agree that some of the show is educational, the whole history aspect. But sometimes, they are just too far fetched and I just think that they are trying to make a big deal out of nothing. Although I do think that there would be some type of aliens, even if they are just single celled organisms, I don't really believe in everything they say in the show. I do have to admit that the show is fun to watch, though.

most of the time yes but there are some episodes where you just want to laugh at the claims. check out the episode guide on wiki and read the description of an episode. maybe there'll be one that catches your attention

I love that show, that guy with the crazy hair. I watch every episode and by the end I'm like OMG it had to be aliens! The history channel had a whole show about how aliens had to be involved in building the pyramids. Literally like a week later they had a show about the pyrmids, and it shows how they progresses slowly from little stone huts to the big giant ones. It showed all the steps in between, how they evolved and learned from the previous ones, and improved it. I was like what the hell man, they just negated the alien show, on the same network! It's still a cool show.

As someone whos studied and is interested in history.....i despise that show. Alien technology built the pyramids? Celtic death-rays? Clearly the ancients were simpletons incapable of understanding mathematics, engineering, and-o wait, they invented those! Those friggin quacks need to be taken off the air. History channel is a shadow of its former self
