how do you make the lightning? sorry if it seems i'm bieng mean, i just need to know you understand the technique, if you have questions, feel free to ask... xd

It's created by vibrating the chakra. =)I read this on the wikia awhile back.

The technique itself I understand.

no.. i mean how do you create the lightning in the clouds, creating a storm is actually a complex process, it doesnt just happen.. xd

Well, lightning is static electricity. So, I thought lightning was created by negatively and positively charged molecules rubbing together.

not quite but along those lines, so would yo mind retrying the technique using your knowledge to help explain what you do (this is what i expect with every technique, the use of real life knowledge of certain aspects used in a way to help describe the techniques)

- I begin feeding chakra into my palm. I then pull my hand upwards, thus releasing the chakra into the clouds. The protons in the clouds begin reacting with the electrons I have injected into them. A blast of thunder can be heard. -

The best I could do. To explain this in full detail would require suiton chakra, also an extensive knowledge of the subject.

ok, now, use your raiton chakra to control the lightning and direct it to the ground.

If you don't mind me asking, how would I go about doing that?

 

[Vincent]

i dont mind at all, it is my job after all, ^_^

basically, use your raiton chakra to set up a negatively charged field around the lightning (as lightning is made of negative particles it should be repelled into centre of the field) keeping it under your control, then extend your field down to the point on the ground you wish it to hit.

- I begin charging raiton into my hand. I release the chakra into the middle of a field. I then switch to the chakra that is already into the cloud and propel it downward toward the field. The negatively charged chakra that is already in the field begins to react. -

are you familiar with the word forcefield? well thats sorts what your trying to accomplish....

I assume you mean a forcefield around the chakra already there.

- I pull my hand upward, and begin to channel chakra into my hand. I release it towards the cloud but I manage to create a circle around it. The chakra that is in the cloud begins to bounce around due to having the same charge. (I.E. Negative) The chakra finally centers at the middle of the cloud. -

good, now, open up the field in the direction of the ground, and extend it down to this point

~marks a point on the ground~

once you do that, the lightning should strike at the correct location

- I see that the spot isn't directly under the cloud. I pull the forcefield to the north-west part of the cloud, propelling it towards the spot. -

good, now, maintain your control, and strengthen the field around the location, the last thing you want is for the lightning to break out, it may hit you if it does
