The weird thing about most Sasuke fanwankers is that they turn the character into some sort of pimp or heartless antihero or Shadow the Edgehog wannabe? And....that's simply not what the character truly is.

If you have to give the character 'cool' traits and change him then maybe you don't actually like the OG character that much and you're just projecting your power fantasy onto him? Not just you who does this though, just a thought.
