The fourth great shinobi war had been raging for nearly a month, and both sides were beginning to lessen the intensity and frequency of battles as they came back to their bases to regroup and conduct new strategies. One day, a squad of five sensor ninja's, Gredon Hyuuga (of the head family), Santa Yamanka, Kyden Inuzaka (and his two dogs, Hanmaru and Kantomaru, both roughly the size of Akamaru in Shippuden), Shinto Aburame, and C (from Kumogakure) were sent out into the forest to make sure that the Zetsu's and reanimated corpses were not making a surprise attack.
Gredon: There's nothing for miles, let's head back.
Kyden: We were told to search out fifty kilometer's and that's what we're going to do.
Gredon: I could've done that five kilometer's back. I did do that five kilometer's back!
Shinto: Shut your yap, Gredon. We're going to go out fifty kilometer's from the base, and you're going to look around for chakra. Kyden's going to sniff out anyone as well in case they can cover their chakra. Then we head back.
Gredon: Whatever.
There was a loud rumble and all five sensors immediatly stopped their progression through the forest and snapped their heads to the left.
C: Is there anything out there? I can't sense that far.
Gredon: It's a strange chakra. Almost like someone, or something is pulling all the chakra out of the Earth itself.
Shinto: Are you trying to tell us that that big explosion was just nature!?
Kyden: Howl! That ain't nature; there's a ninja down there! Not reanimated, not a Zetsu! Let's go Hanmaru, Kantomaru!
Kyden leaps down from the trees and sprints like a dog through the forest floor, his dogs following close behind.
Santa: I think we should go after him.
Gredon: Well no duh, shelock!
The other four sensors keep their height advantage and leap from tree to tree, closing in on the strange, massive aura of chakra. The four in the trees got into a box-like formation above the shimmering chakra-blue figure, while Kyden merely walks up to it, standing upright, his sword in hand and his dogs slightly behind him, curious about this new figure.
Kyden: Alright, what the heck are you?
???: Silence.
Kyden: Come on, I know you're a ninja, so just tell me who you are, and I won't hurt you.
The figure pulls out a chakra-coated kunai and points at Kyden's sword.
Kyden: Oh, you want me to put this away?
Kyden puts the sword in it's scabbard across his back.
Kyden: Now will you talk?
The figure stands up to his full hieght, making his features less distorted by chakra. Now it's clear that it's a man that has somehow coated himself entirely with chakra. His hair is windswept, as the chakra around him seemed to be flowing, whipping his hair every which way.
???: Hello.
The man had a brittish accent and his voice was mutated by chakra. Just the sound of it made the sensors believe it was some type of genjutsu, as they couldn't focus on more than one thing at a time while the heard it. After he had regained his composure, Kyden continued his questions.
Kyden: What's your name?
???: I don't have a name.
Kyden: What do you want me to call you?
???: What do you want to call me?
Santa: ENOUGH OF THESE MIND GAMES!
Santa Yamanka fell off of his pearch in the trees and took a nasty bruise on the shoulder from landing on the chakra-cloaked figure. He rolled off of him and got to his feet as quickly as he could.
Kyden: Way to keep your cover!
Santa: It's those mind games he was playing; it was driving me insane!
???: Your friend falling from the tree gave nothing away. I knew from the start that there were four other ninja pearched above me; I was honestly waiting for a surprise attack.
Gredon, C, and Shinto jump down from the trees and the sensors make a pentagonal formation around the chakra figure.
???: Might I ask what you want from me?
Gredon: No you may not!
???: Fair enough.
C: Are you trying to put us under a genjutsu that affects us through our hearing?
???: A genjutsu? Heaven forbid!
Santa: We can know if you're lying!
???: Those sound like fighting words.
Kyden: If you insist!
Kyden runs at the man, his sword in his right hand faster than the eye can see. He jumps into the air, spinning around to slash the man across the chest, and disappears. He reappears behind the figure, having moved with blinding speed, and cuts the man across the back. Hanmaru and Kantomaru chomp down on the mans wrists, in an attempt to stop him from countering. Kyden leaps back to avoid anything the man may do, and waits to see the full extent of his damage. The man slowly turns around to face Kyden, and raises his arms, with the dogs still biting down, until they're even with Kyden's chest. Then chakra bursts from his palms and down the throats of Kydens dogs, sending them flying back to him. Kyden dives to the ground to break Hanmaru and Kantomaru's falls.
C: Wow.
Gredon: Did you see that!?
Kyden: I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!
???: I suggest you check your sword first.
Kyden was already on the run as the man said this. When Kyden began an even faster and more powerful strike, the man leapt off of tree trunks to get in the air, away from the enraged Inuzaka. As Kyden followed, he checked the blade of his sword to see it slightly chipped.
Kyden(To himself): He chipped my sword! B******!
The man made a final leap through the air, into freefall, and Kyden quickly followed. Kyden twirled in the air, bringing his sword with him, commming down on the man's chest with full force. On the exact point of the blade that made contact, the sword snapped in half. The man skidded along the ground, Santa moving out of the way, and Kyden landed motionless, staring at his shattered sword.
Shinto: Did he break your sword!?
Kyden nodded silently and the other half of the blade fell, nearly impaling Santa, but merely cutting off his ponytail, due to his quick reaction time.
???: Actually-
Gredon: That's it! Eight-Trigrams: Gentle Fist!
As Gredon came towards the man with surprising speed, the man merely grabbed his wrist, unaffected by the chakra he was exerting, and tossed Gredon behind himself, smashing him into a tree.
Shinto: Aburame Style: Chakra Leech!
Bugs fly from under Shinto's gi and speed towards the chakra-cloaked man. As the bugs surround the man, needle sized strands of chakra shoot out from his chakra cloak and impale every single bugs, causing them to fall to the ground when the strands retract back into his body.
C: Lightning Illusion: Flash Pillar!
The genjutsu makes 100% undenieable, successful contact with the man in the chakra cloak. But as the genjutsu starts to take effect, the man takes a step forwards, literally walking right through the genjutsu.
Kyden: Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!
C: Chakra Scalple!
Kyden's fire jutsu and C's pure chakra ninjutsu hit the chakra-cloaked man at the exact same moments, from the back and the front, respectivly.
???: Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!
The man spun around so the mass of miniature fireballs speed in every which direction, putting all five sensors in it's danger zone.
Gredon: C! He just absorbed all of the chakra from that attack!
C: I know; I'm a sensor too, and I was a lot closer to the attack than you were. It's impossible to fight this guy!
Santa: Then let's go!
The five sensors jump back through the forest towards the Joint Shinobi Alliance to tell their superiors about the mysterious man.
Santa: I just thought of something.
Kyden: What?
Santa: He knew that we were in the trees, even though we were silent. He must be a sensor too.
Gredon: I was thinking the same thing.
C: Yeah, except he can fight!
Kyden: We can fight too!
Kyden bares his razor sharp teeth, quickly exhaused from carrying two full grown, injured dogs on his back.
Kyden: He's just stronger than us.
Shinto: You know, because he's a sensor, he could be following us right now.
Gredon stopped on a branch and crained his neck, which he held to increased his Byakugan's distace. In reality, it did nothing.
Gredon: Nope, he's still back there!
C: So stop breaking your neck and hurry up!
The sensor squad all touched down at the Joint Shinobi Alliance at the same time.
Ao: What's the status of your mission?
Ao(To himself): Nothing's comming, I just need something for them to do.
Gredon: Actually, we made contact with a new force.
For the first time, Ao noticed that Hanmaru and Kantomaru were injured.
Ao: Get those two to Shizune. You're dismissed.
Kyden: Yes Captain Ao!
Kyden runs off to the medic tents with his dogs still on his back.
Ao: Now, what kind of 'force'.
For the first time since finding out that under the patch on his eye, Ao held a Byakugan, Gredon, the assigned leader of the squad, looked Ao in the eye.
Gredon: A believed-to-be sensor ninja that broke Kyden's sword when he hit him with it, walked straight through C's genjutsu, absorbed C's chakra scalple, and used Kyden's most powerful fire style jutsu after being hit with a lesser one. He also covers himself with a chakra cloak that can shoot strands of chakra small enough and in enough quantity to impale an entire swarm of Shinto's bugs, and he can stop a Hyuuga's gentle fist with no consiquence to himself at all; he threw me into a tree when i tried.
Ao: How does he react to Yamanka clan techniques?
Gredon: Santa did not engage in the fight. The man also took no damage from both of Kyden's dogs biting him on the wrists, and he even lifted them up, showing increadable strength, and shot chakra out of his palms, nearly killing the dogs. He refused to tell us his name. So far, that's all the information we have on him.
Ao: So, we can assume that he is durable enough that swords break before he does, he's invunerable to genjutsu, he absorbs pure chakra ninjutsu, and can use all elemental jutsu of the person who hit him with the element ninjutsu. He also had inhuman strength and immense chakra control; enough to make it sound like his chakra is simply a Nara shadow that he streatches and abuses.
Gredon: Basically.
Ao: And no one's ever seen or heard of him before?
Gredon: Never.
Ao: Interesting...
