See, Izanagi alters reality according to what Madara wants. And Madara wanted to come back with wounds to transplant Hashi's flesh into. Simple. Never said he had to come back perfect.

Izangi can be manipulated by its user just like izanami can be use to alter Izangi... Izangi make d user b in control of the opponent destiny on battlefield e.g fight of danzo vs sasuke.. So it's possible for madara to come out with wound in his fight with the first hokage and it's seems if the user of Izangi or izanami has awaken der EMS der blind sight will restore after some time
Not a plot hole, let me explain. Izanagi works by altering reality to the liking and thoughts of the user, making imagination into reality. Now this jutsu does not create a new reality, it simple alters the already existing reality to fit their needs. Meaning that for this jutsu to work, the user would have to know the reality before altering it. This is why the jutsu only activates after the user has been hit. Now Madara "programmed" his eye to cast Izanagi after his death, meaning he wasn't alive to see the reality in which he existed. However, he knew one thing about that reality and that was that he would be dead. For him to heal all his wounds with the Izanagi, he would need to know the exact location of them as well as how they were shaped and how deep they were. (A Shinobi like Madara can probably figure this out when they are inflicted by the wounds.) Another thing, it also seems like Izanagi can only alter reality of things that has just happen. It can only alter the present, not the past or future. |
