Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Byakugan is the kekkei genkai of the Hyuga clan. Bearers of this Dõjutsu have almost featureless white eyes. When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge as the blood flow to their eyes is increased. While having the Byakugan deactivated, Hyuga ninjas have a normal eyesight and no special addition to their vision. While low rank Hyugas will need to perform a sequence of hand seals ( Horse → Tiger with lifting just index fingers → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Snake with the right index finger lifted straight up) to activate their Byakugan, Hyuga masters will be able to do so without the need for any hand seals and even have it active passively for long periods of time. Once activated, the user gains access to all of the abilities the Byakugan bestows upon them. While, like other Dojutsu, its main ability is to see chakra and the chakra flow in sentient beings, the Byakugan adds a complete new detail and dimension to that ability. The user can not only see chakra and the chakra flow, but also the circulatory system and even the 361 tenketsu. Added to this ability, once activated the Byakugan grants the user a near perfect field of vision 360º around himself (up to long-range if he's a master). This field of vision has only one blind spot, slightly above the 3rd thoracic vertebrae and facing backwards but enables the user to actually even see his own chakra circulatory system and chakra flow, which explains why all Hyuugas are so adept and masterfull of precise chakra control. The last ability the Byakugan has is the ability to zoom in and out, focusing on specific things, piercing beyond matter and energy alike, as well as chakra. This specific ability allows the user to see pass most barriers as well as physical matter (like rock walls, ground, etc) but also energy, being able to focus beyond chakra that might be in front of them or other energies. The zooming ability is enhanced as the user becomes more adept at using his eyes and can even reach distances above 20kms away. Some Hyugas have shown a great awareness regarding agressiveness as well as killing intent, detecting such intentions and emotions from others with more ease than most.
Note: Activation spends a move from the users own move count but once the user reaches Sannin Rank and has gained mastery over Gentle Fist for 1 month, he can activate it passively without spending a move. Because of its low chakra cost to maintain, the user can keep it active throughout the whole fight as long as he has chakra and stamina to do so.
Note: Genjutsu that requires Eye Contact when used against a Byakugan user requires direct eye contact between enemy pupil and user's pupil

Unalaq using his byakugan to notice the rain now incorperated foreign chakra matching that of Dean-sensei's he then weaved a few handseals before stretching one hand over his head while molding and releasing Ameton chakra from his outstretched hand to form an umbrella to protect him from the rain that was created by Dean-sensei. Unalaq dries while he is using the rain Umbrella

Unalaq regains control of the rain by infusing his Ameton chakra into it he then cause the rain to rise higher into the atmosphere before allowing them to freeze into hail and then fall from sky to the ground. taking further advantage of the of Unalaq advance chakra control and shape manipulation he then causes the hail to form into a net which he then causes on Dean-Sensei's clone preventing him from escape.

while the opponent is trapped in the frozen rain Unalaq further uses his inherent advance chakra control abilities to cause more rain to bounce higher into the atmosphere before the rain freezes into something like hail and come together to form a dagger before it falls from the ground fast. The rain dagger continues to fall until it impales the captured clone in the chest causing the clone to disperse.

the two advantages to the rain Umbrella technique is that it prevents the opponent successfully land an attack on the in while i would imagine that the technique isn't visible so it would look like you are just posing or preparing for another attack which could be something that could be used to your advantage of deception. the two disadvantages is that they require a series of handseals which could take some time to perform. also you would have to be aware of an attack coming from above to even anticipate the attack which could be difficult if you don't have byakugan or sensory abilities. it also leaves you vulnerable to direct attacks like taijutsu ninja tools or Katon or Raiton jutsu

two advantages to the frozen capture technique is that the solid form of the Ameton makes the user more versatile in the battlefield. there is also a stealthy aspect to have a capture technique fall from the sky. with it also being hail there could really thick to make it harder for the escaping opponent but that would most likely take more time to develop. the two disadvantages is of course the element itself making it weak against fire. the other disadvantage is that it has to develop in the cloud and then fall which could take some time to affect the opponent.

two advantages to the frozen rain dagger technique is that the one is the element of surprise by coming from the sky Unless the opponent was a doujutsu user or sensory type of ninja. also this technique doesn't use handseals so it will also contribute to the element of surprise possible attacking the opponent from behind while fighting in close range combat.
the two disadvantages is that one it takes time to form and then fall from the sky. also if the opponent notices that there is something gathering in the sky he will most likely try to distract you to prevent the user from performing the technique. also the obvious disadvantage of the elemental disadvantage against fire.

"The next technique is similar to the last technique you just did. Using your Rain based chakra, you will cause the falling rain to be bounced higher up into the sky and freeze. You will then use shape manipulation to turn these raindrops into blade like forms. This causes frozen blades of rain to fall down upon the opponent, and cause quite some damage."

"After that, perform several hand seals and focus your Rain based chakra into the clouds above. After a bit of development ( 3 turns ) the rain will be formed into hail, which can then be directed towards the opponent. A nice technique, but takes a bit of time to be honest. Use it on my clone."

"Lastly, use your Rain based chakra to send it into the clouds and after development of three turns too, snow will come falling down. This snow in turn, falls for three turns and can be used in conjunction with Hidden Mist Skill, making it a deadly combo but it will hinder not only the opponent's vision, but yours too. Only use it if you have sensing, or a weapon with sensing."

using his advance chakra manipulation, Unalaq quickly mold Ameton chakra before focusing on the falling rain causing it to rise into the atmosphere and freeze. Once frozen, i then cause the frozen rain aka hail to take the shape of blades to before they fall on the opponent and impale the clone from above causing him to disperse.

once Dean-sensei created another clone Unalaq molded more Ameton chakra before focusing it into the clouds causing some of the moisture in the air to freeze. Unalaq then engage the opponent in taijutsu while he continues to cause the moisture in the clouds to freeze. after three turns Unalaq then takes a large leap backwards to gain distance while unleashing the hail to fall on the opponent, while positioned a safe distance from the technique.

After seeing Dean-sensei's clone advances toward Unalaq, he quickly performs the hidden mist technique before molding and focusing Ameton chakra into the clouds allowing the rain to bounce in the atmosphere allowing the rain to freeze before allowing it to come down as snow in a blizzard making the thickness of the hidden mist even thicker than normal, blinding the opponent but Unalaq's byakugan still more than able to see the opponent and dispose of the clone by attacking from behind.

two advantages to the first technique is it impales the opponent from above. also it doesn't require handseals so it can used stealthy to surprise the opponent. the two disadvantages is that it takes some time to develop and if your opponent discovers your intent then performing it will become more tedious. also it has the elemental weakness to fire.

two advantages for the second techniques its a directed attack that can become useful in battle or when you are dealing with multiple opponents. also can be used as a distraction to allow yourself to hide or take cover. the two disadvantages is that it takes time to perform especially for 3 turns,really? also there are handseals involved which makes the technique way more obvious.

the two advantages to this technique is for doujutsu users sensors and have weapons with sensing this would be the perfect way to "zone" the battlefield as Adachi would say it. also it would be so thick that a traditional wind technique wouldn't be enough to completely get rid of blinding techniques. for the two disadvantages, of course the amount of time it takes to actually perform the technique would prompt you to slowly the technique while combating with the opponent and the elemental weakness. plus the technique by itself is basically useless since there is little affect unless used with the hidden in mist technique which would make performing the technique even more difficult to successfully use affectively.

"The first technique is simple. You will slam your hands onto the ground as you focus your Rain chakra, as you send a large wave of Rain based chakra through the ground. This causes small water sources nearby to fly back into the clouds to replenish it. This allows you to "refresh" the clouds so you can use more rain techniques or use it to replenish the clouds when the opponent blows them away."

"After long list of hand seals, you will run towards your opponent, and gather your Rain chakra towards your palms. Once you get closer, rain will start gathering there and you will use shape manipulation to form the water into an orb. You will then blast the orb towards the opponent, causing blunt damage and giving it the name, "Rain Rasengan", like I say xD. Use it on my clone."

Unalaq begins to mold Ameton chakra and focus it to his hand before slamming that hand to the ground to release Ameton chakra thru the ground. all the rain that has fallen to the ground is then risen to the atmosphere to fully replenish the sky with rain clouds that continue to pour rain back to the ground.

After weaving a chain of handseals Unalaq advances toward Dean-sensei's clone while Using his Ameton chakra to gather rain into the palm of his hand and using shape manipulation to form the rain into an orb. Unalaq then thrust the palm into the opponent's abdomen blasting the opponent with the orb of rain causing blunt damage to the clone.

Unalaq molds more Ameton chakra while weaving the necessary handseals before focusing the chakra into the rain 20 meters radius of the clone and use shape manipulation to cause them to take shape of individual needles that surrounds the clone before directing them to the clone thus causing the clone to disperse from the overall impact.

the two advantages of the technique is that the technique is quick and difficult to stop since it is with the movement of the body and the placement of the hand to the ground. Also this can be used to continue combinations of rain techniques when the opponent figures you out and tries to get the upperhand in the battle. the two disadvantages other the obvious elemental weaknesses is that it puts you in a position where it can backfire, if the opponent uses earth techniques. they can easy cause an earth spike to impale you when attempted. also with all the rain in the sky techniques like the rain spike would take some time to perform.

the two advantages for the second technique is that the damage can be done is close range with the shape manipulation it could also withstand against techniques within the same rank unless it is a large technique. it would be hard for the opponent to recover from the technique if the technique actually connects. the two disadvantages is that the long amount of handseals and the point of advancing to the opponent. by the time you are able to perform the technique a skilled has already countered the technique in his mind. the technique is also easily avoidable which would most likely put you in tight spot.

the two advantages to the third technique is that the technique is gonna be hard to escape from since the opponent is gonna be attacked from all side. this is something that is best used in guerrilla warfare. just stay hidden weave the handseals while hidden. the two disadvantages is that it requires handseals which slows down the performance also it can alert the opponent if they are observant. also every needle has to connect for it to be very effective since they aren't really effective individually.

"Next on the list is a simple technique. By focusing your Rain chakra, you will form a pillar of Rain in the air and also focus on a point on the ground where it will fall. It has a radius of 4 meters. Once it does fall down, the impact creates a shock wave of water, that cascades outwards. Use it on my clone to deliver a mixture of blunt damage and power."

"After that, an upgraded version of reflection rain clone technique, You will use your Rain chakra to form a clone of yourself, or rather a reflection. This creates a hundred clones, all that mimic your movements. Only usable in short range, so imagine the diversion tactics. Use it to confuse my clone."

"Lastly, use your Rain chakra to form the falling rain into a Trident. The trident has some solidity to it, and is capable of causing some blunt damage and also cutting an opponent. Once it enters a wound, it expands. The length of the trident can also be adjusted after creation, making it an interesting technique. Use it on my clone."

As the clone advances, Unalaq mold Ameton chakra and focus it into the cloud causing the rain to take the shape of pillar that has a 4 meter radius. Once created Unalaq focuses on the clone's location where he causes the pillar to fall. As it makes impact the pillar cascades outward and the clone disperses from the blunt impact of the falling pillar.

after molding Ameton chakra Unalaq focuses to makes a hundred clones that mimics his actions. as the clone attack with a barrage of techniques Unalaq then sneaks behind the clone with a clone before him also preparing for an attack as the clone defends against the clone in front Unalaq attacks the clone and causes the clone to disperse.

after molding Ameton chakra Unalaq reaches out over his hand where rain gathers together to form a trident before Unalaq the impales the clone. he then causes the trident to extend pushing the clone into a nearby tree before causing the tip of the trident that is impaled into the clone the expand within the clone causing extra damage and making the clone disperse.

the two advantages to the first technique is that it is a large attack that begin in the sky so it would be hard to notice. also the suddenness would surprise the opponent. the two disadvantages is that even though it is hard to notice it takes some time to form and it is a big pillar that is coming from the sky. also if you aren't careful you could also hurt yourself if you are too close.

as for the second technique the two advantages for the second technique is that there is no handseal required so it can make for a good surprise attack. also this could be good in stealth situations as in distracting the opponent with a ninja tools, genjutsu, and ninjutsu. the two disadvantages is that if it was a doujutsu user then they would be able to easily deduct. also when the opponent sees that its made of water than all hundred of the clones easily can be dispanded because of a fire technique.

the two advantages to the water trident is that it can become very useful in adaptable situations also it can defend agains projectile technique technique with equal rank. also it doesn't require handseal just to form the weapon in hand. the disadvantage is that large attacks wouldn't be able to defend against. also any techniques that is stronger or has an elemental advantage which would be fire, lightning, and earth would make the the technique obsolete.

"Now S ranks. The first one can be a bit confusing. Using your Rain based chakra, you will draw all the rain to a single point, which starts spinning extremely fast. This spinning motion pulls all the rain clouds towards it, which then releases a swirling storm of water towards the opponent. This rushes towards the opponent in a tidal wave form. Its quite powerful as it can cut through armor, and is also uncontrollable as it can basically take you with it, if you are too close, so beware. Use it on my clone."

"After that, form a long row of hand seals and cut your ring fingers. You will then lift your hands to the sky, as you send your Rain chakra into the clouds, which takes your blood upwards. The result are dragons that are formed from the clouds, which are capable of emitting rain spears once per turn. They also act as alternate sources of rain. Use it on my clone."

Unalaq then starts by molding Ameton chakra before and focusing it on one point causing it to gather to that point and rapidly spin as it gathers. the spinning motion is also pulling the rain from the clouds once enough rain is gathered, Unalaq then releases the rain water in the form of a rushing tidal wave towards Dean-sensei's clone!

As Dean-sensei creates another clone Unalaq molds Ameton Chakra while chaining handseals and cutting the ring finger of each hand before sending the chakra along with his blood to the sky causing the clouds to take the shape of a dragon. The dragon cloud then emit rain spears towards the clone making impact and causing it to disperse.

As the next clone is created, Unalaq molds Ameton chakra while chaining a few handseals before focusing the chakra into the rain to cause the rain to become pitch black up to midrange catching the clone off guard not knowing which way would be out the before Unalaq use chakra manipulation to cause the rain to be come the shape of senbon that then showers the clone causing it to disperse.

The two advantages to the first technique is that it is a large scale technique which can greatly used for both offensive and defensive purpose also it is another technique that could be used stealthly while in close range and then quickly move out the way at just the right time. leaving no time for the opponent to react since the technique doesn't have any handseals. the two disadvantages is that even though it doesn't require any handseals it would still take a second or two to perform since the element has to be gathered before released. Also if not used correctly it can damage you as well. but to be honest that could be any technique.

the two advantages to the second technique is that it would summon a dragon out of clouds to freaking wreck everything with rain spears. it can also last more than one turn. the two disadvantages is that it would take some time to perform since it requires a long chain of handseals and could most likely be interrupted. Also a simple fire or a lightning technique can turn the technique against you.

The two advantages to the third technique which is sure it requires handseals but it can be mistaken by the commonly used genjutsu bringer of darkness which could not only hinder the vision of your opponent but it can deceive the opponent as well before. so when they try to dispel it in way they would dispel the genjutsu you could make a swift attack that finishes the battle. the two disadvantages is that its limited to midrange which would mean that the opponent could technically step out of the bounds of the technique.

"Alright, a few more to go. The next technique is simple. You will send your Rain based chakra into the rain clouds, and create dragons from these clouds. These dragons are capable of swooping down from the clouds, and are capable of releasing a spiral spear of Rain towards the opponent (once per post) and release a small rainstorm too. These dragons are also capable as acting as Rain sources for Rain techniques. Use it on my clone."

"After that, use your Rain chakra and send it into the clouds above. You will then use your Rain chakra to condense a large amount of Rain water to form several spears of Rain. These can be called down at any time, with a single hand seal. These spears of Rain are more powerful than the previous ones as they have a corkscrew shape, which can be manipulated by widening or sharpening the turns. These spears stay in this shape for 2 turns, then they fall uselessly as Rain. Use it on my clone."

"Lastly, a crazy technique where you use your Rain based chakra to bring the very clouds down from the sky. These clouds are then placed around the user and opponent. Due to the chakra in the clouds, they keep moving at high speeds. Now, what makes this technique so crazy is that it doubles the power of all rain techniques used from it ( the clouds now act as a source ). This means that rain techniques can come from anywhere, and makes it difficult to dodge them. Use it against my clone."

Unalaq then mold Ameton and focuses it to the clouds above to cause dragons to descend bringing a storm of rain down with it and the other releasing a spiral spear of rain towards the clone. Unalaq focuses his chakra on the storm water to cause them to take the shape of senbon that rains down on the clone before the he is impaled by the spiral spear from the dragon.

When the next clone was created, Unalaq then molded Ameton chakra before placing his hand on the ground to cause all the rain water to ascend back to the clouds. He then used the advanced chakra control to shape the large amounts of rain to many spirals spears that are stronger than the previous. Unalaq then weaves a handseal before the spiral spears impale the clone causing to disperse.

Once Dean-sensei creates another clone Unalaq molds Ameton chakra he then uses the chakra to bring the rain clouds down to ground level. With the clouds now at ground level he then use the clouds as a water source, Unalaq uses his surroundings to causes the multiple spiral spears to appear from all angles of the clone before weaving the handseal that causes them to impale the clone multiple times. This causes it to disperse.

the two advantages of the first technique is that the dragons can be use to aid in the fight with his physical presence or using the ability of the dragon to aid in your attack. the two disadvantages is that the dragon can also be used against you and making it to where there is no escape, especially if the dragon is positioned around you the dragon will then be a hindrurance rather than a help.

the two advantages to the second technique is the adaptability. this jutsu is one that can allow you to turn to tables on your opponent and keep them on the defensive. also it is a stronger variation of a technique that is normally used by the rain dragon. the two disadvantages is that the elemental weakness and that if you are fighting against a fellow rain user they can easily cancel the jutsu.

the two advantages for the third technique that it is a supplementary technique so it doesn't require any handseals. that could aid in the stealth approach when it comes the rain techniques. The two disadvantages is the versatility that is given is virtually gone once the technique is canceled also it would be difficult to combat a fellow rain user if you used the technique.

These rain clouds still have chakra in them, which continues to produce Rain. This allows you to use rain based techniques like Rain Spear from your body. This shell of clouds can als cut the damage of Lightning based techniques in half. Use it on my clone."

This causes the Rain to change properties, into Acid rain, which eats through most materials. However, human skin is only caused to blister and slowly dissolve off. Use it on my clone."

As Unalaq notices Dean-sensei creates a clone, Unalaq then Uses his Ameton chakra to pull down the clouds and coats his body with it. The moment he is coated by the cloud shell he then use the endless rain of spiral spears from the cloud shell towards the clone. the clone then disperses from being impaled multiple times.

As Dean-sensei creates another clone, Unalaq molds more Ameton chakra and sends it to the clouds laced with poisonous chakra before causing rain to fall from the clouds. the properties of the rain has changed to acid rain which slowly dissolved the clones skin and cause it to disperse.

As Dean-sensei creates another clone, Unalaq molds and send Ameton chakra to the clouds before making them bounce higher into the atmosphere causing them to freeze. As Hail is being made Unalaq use shape manipulation to form the shape of a trident before causing it to fall from the clouds with great force, both impaling the clone and causing impact damage causing the clone to disperse.

the two advantages of the first technique is one it gives the ability to create rain from the immediate location making the techniques more accessible. also making the usual one weakness lightning less effective. the two disadvantages is that it needs to be generated from a cloud from the sky and pulled down to the user before it can be used. even though it doesn't require handseals it still would most likely take a second or two to perform.

the two advantages to the second technique is that it causes additional damage to the opponent. it doesn't require handseals and it can be something that can be used long range to make it hard to escape. the two disadvantages it can also melt thru other properties so whatever you could be using to protect yourself from the technique can be dissolved.

the two advantages for the third technique is it doesn't require handseals so it can be performed while you are most likely using your hands for taijutsu kenjutsu or any other techniques. also it can be used for distractions by having it suddenly appear it from the sky before delivering the final blow. the two disadvantages is that it is most likely something that a sensory type ninja or doujutsu ninja would notice giving them time to defend. also it most likely a large technique so it can also do damage to multiple targets meaning you could also put yourself in danger if you aren't positioned correctly.
