Possessing a humongous amount of knowledge doesn't make one intelligent, it just means you know more than the average person, not necessarily smarter. If a less knowledgeable person (that is smarter) was to have the same information that a less smarter, but more knowledgeable person has, he/she could easily tip the scale of a debate in their favor using analytical, and critical thinking etc etc.


A lot of people have their own definition of an open mind I suppose, but to me it means...dominating a debate, but still accepting that the losing person could very well be right. I'd like to believe I'm as open-minded as one can get.

First off, I think the reason why they asked these people is for this certain outcome. Second of all, these people had education just like anyone else... I'm pretty sure my 47 year old mother knows how many sides there are on a triangle.
