disclaimer:This is something that I have thought up that I don't entirely believe myself because of some flaws in the way danzo acts but nonetheless something that should be mentioned.
if this has been posted before sorry, but I have never seen it.

The idea of this post is to show that there is the possibility that danzo is not only gifted with shisui's eye and arm but is in fact conrolled by him. first of all I want to put a basis for this theory. this is based from the abnormality of kabutomaru

kabutomaru implanted orochimaru's arm and it slowly takes over his body.
danzo is shown to have shisui's eye and arm transplanted as shown in this pic

this was transplaneted by orochimaru as shown here
that link pretty much says that they need to get the data of the expiriments so that the proof that danzo had work done doesn't get out.
so combined with the fact that it is possible for body parts to take over the person who had them put on's body and the fact that danzo(who obviously doesn't go on missions often) is so gifted with his sharingan, I think that this theory is a definite possibility

Very Much possible. Since already its proved that danzo have good links with orochimaru. So danzo used orochimaru for transplanting shishu eye.

i think that you might be right with the part of fighting with the transplantated for control of your body and oro being the medic nin who gave danzo arm and eye.
on the other hand, i dont belive that shisui took over danzos body, therefore danzo is to strongly introduced as evil guy.

That is definitely something to think on, Nice theory there hoss.

Hmm it is an interesting theory. No1 trully knows the extent of damage and control the transpalnts have on the second owners. And since chakra reacts to emotions couldn`t it be the same with transplants? SOme1 was talking about Kakashi`s sharingan but that was given willingly by Obito not taken by force like Shisuis probably was. And also inside Kabuto the overtaking effect is Orochimarus will to be immortal. SO there might be something further up ahead.

And as Danzou says in page Naruto 454 page 17 something is wrong with hes eye and arm. Maybe he is starting to get eaten by them. Or just cant use the arm and eye to full extent who knows. But i`m sure Kishi will let us know soon enough. I`m sure hat at least 3 more gaidens will be.
1 about Minato Namikaze
1 about Danzou
1 about Kushina Uzumaki. Since she hasn`t even entered the scene i think she might have a big role in Narutos future so 1 more gaiden at least about this.

It's possible with recent events but Orochimaru 'will' to be immortal is on whole another level so it could be unique in Kabuto's case and not a flaw of the operation but we can't determine that yet. I may be confused with my timeline but did Orochimaru leave the village before or after Shisui Uchiha died and I'm assuming Shisui's death was pretty close to the Uchicha massacre and Itachi joining Akatsuki. Danzou's behavior and motive at the moment doesn't really feel like something Shisui would be trying to do.
