It would have been the battle of a Hyuuga vs Uchiha, it would have been indeed awesome...though Sasuke would have lost.

Sasuke would've owned Neji if he could use ninjutsu freely, but since he couldn't, and used taijutsu only, he'd lose in CS1. He'd soundly beat Neji in CS2 though.

Back in Part 1 Sasuke was a hot head thinking he could take on the world. Neji would have fodderized Sasuke in Part 1. Neji was calm and strategized. Plus he would have shut down Sasuke's chakra networks so fast that Sasuke's head would be spinning. The only thing Neji would have been at a disadvantage at was MAYBE some genjutsu, but I really don't remember if Sasuke knew any Genjutsu in Part 1.

Sasuke has the Sharingan he would be able to read his movements amd je had a high speed body like Lee.Neji wouldn't be able to land a hit on him easily.


Neji is a close range fighter - Sasuke could launch a few fire balls at him from a distance,specifically at the ground which would make dust rise up im the air clouding Neji's vision,even with the Byakugan he wouldn't be able to see him like that --- use that as a distraction and nail him with the Chidori.

quit the clownery, vote sasuke would lay waste to neji then. he struggled against naruto one tail while sasuke in cm plus 3t was handling it.

OT. yes it would have been a good fight but neji would beat sasuke prior to vote.

Part 1 Neji was comfortably stronger than Part 1 Sasuke. It would have been a cool fight to watch though, even knowing the result.
