Amaterasu x Pein?s Power

Anyone ever wonder why when one of Pein?s body summons that head thing to suck out the truth from people, it always appears from black flames which look very much like Amaterasu?

well sharigan is a lesser evolved eye technique than the rinnengan so why couldnt he have that sort of ability, probs would be weaker. we saw his way of doing byakugan by sharing his eyes with his other bodys to know where they were getting attacked from, again this was weaker though cause he couldnt see the chakra running through bodies.

You are referring to Naraka Realm (AKA Hell Realm).

In Issue 389, Itachi states "it is said that Amaterasu is the fire from hell which will never disappear until it burns everything in its path".

So Naraka Realm summons this head from Hell and I guess along with it comes the fire from which it comes from.

I don't think he can control the flame though. I think it's just something that comes along with summoning that big head thing because a "portal" has opened up and the fire in hell is so great that it can't help but come through the "portal" a bit.
