Amaterasu vs Edo Tensei

If someone were to use Amaterasu on an edo character and they were caught in it would the fire keep burning them and killing them over and over again since it can't be extinguished? Do you think it would kill them once and then go out and the person would be revived from ash? When Itachi and Sasuke fought the black flames he spread in the forest kept burning even after the fight was over and surely everything was already burnt so that would mean they keep burning as long as it's on the ground. How about if you put amaterasu on the area around the edo so as soon as it is revived it gets caught in the flame? Ideas? Flaming? +rep? =)

Asking for rep will get you -rep. And why wouldn't the edo just use a technique to completely destroy themselves, then come back amaterasu free, or let it burn them to nothing, and respawn. Amaterasu is nothing bad for them.

I don't think an edo'll get caught again.
edo will burn to nothing then the flames will either disappear or they'll start burning the ground.
but edo will be revived with some papers flying around. so when an edo is back edo will not be revived in the fire (most likely )

It was a joke hence the smiley face. I didn't think of the self-destruct thing that sounds like it would work. The thing is if they let themselves get burnt to nothing wouldn't the flame keep on burning and from what I have seen they respawn in the same spot they died and they would just get caught in the flame again possibly?
