I see all these forums about Sasuke's Amaterasu can one shot anyone, but can it?
I mean it didnt Kill Obito, after his fight with Itachi; it didnt kill the 8 tails; nor did'
it kill the Fourth Raikage, who was about to sacrifice himself to kill Sasuke. So why
do I constantly hear everyone stating Amaterasu is so Dangerous or Powerful. And
concerning Sasuke's arrows, it seems to me as long as you have Sage Mode or Natural
energy like Kabuto, the arrows would be ineffective because you would not be able to
hit or connect because of Sage Mode.

Every attack is useless if it can't hit target ...!

Amatarasu surely kill's any opponent...but the process is slow compared to attacks like Rasenshuriken,but it wil dfnltly kill's but not instantanious.....

Even Juubi would have died if it didn't get rid of that part ...

Only knwn person to escape Amatarsu until now is Minato....He managed to escape b4 that attack damage him .....

ppl that can counter Amatarasu are
s/t users
long range fighter's with considerable speed
Faster shunshin
High level Sensors (useless if they dnt had considerable speed or defence)
Sage mode user's

lol your missing the point. The point is thats it is a bad 'one shot' because its easily countered and the people hit by the jutsu didnt even die. no one but deidara took a direct hit from kamui. but once it hit his arm was finished. if jinton hits you, your dust. you listed better one shots than amaterasu in your comment.
Your missing the point i just listed all the people who could get 1shotted...


I agree. im not trynna say its a weak jutsu, just in comparison to other jutsu it falls short of the 'Oneshot" title when it comes to ninja of relevance

Amaterasu is dangerous & a potential 1shot attack, it depends on how much power the user puts into it. Obito had kamui, obvious reason for him being able to counter ama. A would've died if he didnt cut off his arm or continued to fight sasuke, he would be covered in flames that cant be put out. & sasuke wasnt trying to kill bee, he burned him enough to revert back to his base form.

When ama is used to kill, it can kill. It killed danzo (during izanagi) & zetsu fodder, the only exception is the juubi obviously.

& as for the arrows, how many people have access to nature energy? & what's more how many people can get into sage mode before falling victim to the arrows?

Yes, Amaterasu is one of the dangerous techniques and is potentially a one-shot...the heat of the flames gets hotter the more the user focuses his sight on his target or object.​

Lol, Obito survived do to the Kamui(who could have easily have gone intangible with Kamui and survived the Amaterasu) or he could have simply sacrificed one of his eyes by using Izanagi (just Danzo did)...Obito has a whole room of Sharingan...so, he doesn't need to worry about getting his eye back.​

Lol, again you failed...why would Amaterasu kill Bee when it wasn't Sasuke's intention to kill Bee in the first place? he just need enough flames to bring Bee back to his base form and capture him....please, use common sense.​

Huh, you do realize the flames only caught Ay's hand right? were expecting for Ay to die by from his being burned?...not only that...Ay would have died if he had not cut his arm...i would love to see Ay just stand there and not cut off his arm if the Amaterasu couldn't kill him...​

And how Shinobis can use Sage Mode(Sennin Mōdo/Senjutsu)? and we also have to judge whether if the user is in Sennin Mōdo or not when the Susanoo arrow is used...because if they aren't....then they're done for it.​

1It would have killed obito, but obito transferred the flames to kamui world, it was obito artificial body part that got hit with amatersu
2 it wɑsn't sakuke mission to kill d 8tails which was screaming like hell, but weaken it, since he has the ability to control it.
3 it was not amaterasu that the raikage got hit with, that is why he dodge amaterasu, but he only sacrifice his left arm and not his whole body, which was covered in lighting armou breaking into the weakest form of susanoe which was covered in blackflames. When u touch a black flame, u will eventually get burnt, but it will be gradual, but if it is amaterasu, it will progress at a faster rate because of the speed,
OT that is what happened to karin when he was hit by the blackflames since she was not hit directly by amaterasu, the blackflame gradually started to burn her.
4 incase of kabuto u ɑre correct, but sakuke did not use blackflames on kabuto but a normal susanoe, check u̶̲̥̅̊я̲̅ manga for facts, he main intel was not to kill kabuto, because his brother to him not to, they had to get intel on how to stop edo teisei
OT if sakuke and itachi wanted to defeat kabuto, it wouℓdn't last that long, but it is hard to defeat a person, who u don't want to kill, when itachi disturbed kabuto with his yama bits, sakuke couℓd have use black flame arrow but chose to use a normal suanoe arrow, got him by the tail, if it was a blackflame arrow he would have burn kabuto alive.
