Amaterasu---Sasuke Fans!!!!

I see all these forums about Sasuke's Amaterasu can one shot anyone, but can it?
I mean it didnt Kill Obito, after his fight with Itachi; it didnt kill the 8 tails; nor did'
it kill the Fourth Raikage, who was about to sacrifice himself to kill Sasuke. So why
do I constantly hear everyone stating Amaterasu is so Dangerous or Powerful. And
concerning Sasuke's arrows, it seems to me as long as you have Sage Mode or Natural
energy like Kabuto, the arrows would be ineffective because you would not be able to
hit or connect because of Sage Mode.

Amaterasu is dangerous & a potential 1shot attack, it depends on how much power the user puts into it. Obito had kamui, obvious reason for him being able to counter ama. A would've died if he didnt cut off his arm or continued to fight sasuke, he would be covered in flames that cant be put out. & sasuke wasnt trying to kill bee, he burned him enough to revert back to his base form.

When ama is used to kill, it can kill. It killed danzo (during izanagi) & zetsu fodder, the only exception is the juubi obviously.

& as for the arrows, how many people have access to nature energy? & what's more how many people can get into sage mode before falling victim to the arrows?

It can one shot everyone beside others above high kage level like raikage and Kakashi. Juubito is a different matter well because he has the juubi's power to even make it look like a one pony trick even though it is not. It is like chidori and rasengan, they look like nothing but they can still be deadly when used right. Ex: rasengan killed tendou of the six paths of pain. Just because there are too powerful opponents, it does not mean that the techniques are weak.

lol the point is there are multiple ways to counter this.. your too literal. the point of this was to show that this is an easily countered move if your level is high enough. hence why amaterasu only killed fodder ninja and no one worth noting. Kamui has no counter other than kamui so to me thats a better one shot for example. other ninja will counter amaterasu their own way that best suits their style

How many ninja ACTULLY got one shotted by this in the manga? i think every major character who was attacked by it survived as a matter of fact. Raikiri killed more people than amaterasu and kakashi always hits the wrong person lol

1 Who's fast enough to pull out a scroll and stop it.???

2 Raikage needed prep time to build up his chakra to dodge... Thats has nothing to do with his reflexis... Also if Sasuke would have shot it again Raikage would have been hit because he wouldn't have had enough prep time to dodge it...

3 Honestly look at his body do think someone can get up and fight after getting burns like that?

1) Tsunade cant counter it, she can heal as its burning but she has absolutely no way to get it off so itll keep burning till she cant heal anymore. Shes not fast enough to dodge it either

2) Oonoki really has no counter to amaterasu. Hes not known for his speed and if he gets hit he has no way of taking it off.

3) Mei has absolutely no way of getting rid of amaterasu except maybe blinding sasuke with mist before he uses it.

4) Darui cant stop it

5) Probably only Neji would would be able to stop amaterasu because he can see chakra forming with byakugan and start spinning

6) How would Hiruzen even stop it? Hes not fast at all and he doesnt have any type of jutsu to counter it

7) tell me exactly how hidan would stop it. He may be immortal but he would be immortal ash. Hes not indestructible. He can get limbs cut off and stuff. He just cant die. But with ama, he would just burn burn and be living ash.

8) Konan is paper lol.

ametarasu can be dodged with enough speed(ay,kabuto) and defence jutsu like garra's sand infact be faster than ametarasu and you will survive.

If the jutsu has been countered that manytimes and killed no one then its not a good one shot jutsu now is it? thats all i said that to say. its a very dodgable/counterable jutsu, that was the point of my comment.

At this point in the manga I have to agree with you, not just amaterasu but all the original MS techniques which seemed so powerful when they were first revealed have become common in the rankings of what we are seeing currently. I'm not saying they are weak but their will be no one shotting anyone of importance, this is a good thing as Sasuke will be forced to once again break out some new strategy and tactics which he lost after gaining the pure power of the MS.

lol your missing the point. The point is thats it is a bad 'one shot' because its easily countered and the people hit by the jutsu didnt even die. no one but deidara took a direct hit from kamui. but once it hit his arm was finished. if jinton hits you, your dust. you listed better one shots than amaterasu in your comment.

I agree. im not trynna say its a weak jutsu, just in comparison to other jutsu it falls short of the 'Oneshot" title when it comes to ninja of relevance
