She was thinking of what dimensions to cross out (Like when you have options and you take out the dumb one) She was mainly thinking about the consequence of the dimension that she was going to (Again like choices; Skip soccer practice to play Video Games or do soccer practice) If she wanted to she could have gone to the other dimensions, but she was fresh out of options due to the limited time and desperation.
It wasn't just Sasuke that had her cornered, Everybody could fly at that point so some dimensions were rendered useless So like i said she was out of options it wasn't just Sasuke everybody had her ***** straight into a corner. Amaterasu was her least concern for her, but it gave Sasuke an advantage, Similar to how Flight gave an advantage to other characters in the terrain. In simlpe term Kaguya was already ***** before she decided to shift dimensions. Is this at the least understandable? Do you need me to clarify any specific points? (Not being rude here)

When Gyuuki reverted back to Bee, Bee had minor burns on him. Then he was brought back by Sasuke and they started trying to seal Gyuuki, but then it poofed and turned out to be the tip of one of Gyuuki's tails.

Where were the tails severed by Amaterasu? I only know of the two; the one Bee used for the clone, and the one he used as an escape pod.

Her dimensional shift has zero relevance to whether she's cornered or not. She can change the entire dimension as she pleases. The shift you are talking about is the advanced form of Kamui. She uses that to only transport herself.
