Just like amaterasu, the tsukyomi is also hyped up, I mean only kakashi and 3tomoe sauke had faced it, and 3tomoe sasuke broke out of it, even when danzo talked about tsukyomi he never said it was unbreakable. Guess that's why Itachi ran on jiraiya's sight, Itachi fans said he didn't want to fight, yet if it was kakashi, orochi, or baby sake, he wouldn't bother trying a new genjutsu

Why didn't she then? She knows Sasuke has this and he used it against her as well. For now, it appears that this was the quickest escape for her.

It's dangerous because it can't be extinguished and burns things that normally wouldn't burn, but it's severely overrated. It's a fireball that doesn't burn any better than regular fire and can be dodged or countered.
