Amaterasu is useless against Neji

These flames can not be fed that was an error I believe. I think anyway.

Neji can do full body blow before the flame touches him, for example if he does it the second he see's the chakra building up in sasuke's eye if he does it straight away it will be about prefect timing because ama is so fast.

The flames can't eat chakra? To my knowledge if they can show me a scan or something.

And this chakra is a shield, think of this if someone had chakra around them a kunai can still hit them but neji is using powerful chakra as a dense shield (this may not be the exact correct terminology to explain it) a kunai will not go through it but it will deflect of it.

Ama will not go through it, it will burn around the chakra shield and then disperse

Neji would resort to Rotation as a defense against Ama instead of full body blow due to the rotation causing the chakra emitted to have more force for deflection. That is why full body blow isn't the sig defense for the Hyuga and Rotation was invented.

It burned fire itself, and it wasn't normal fire. It was chakra fire (there is a difference because fire cannot travel through the air unless what it is burning is moving, like a flammable liquid for a flame thrower). Also the flames burned through Ay's lighting chakra armor to reach his arm.

Full body blow isn't a shield, it is an attack. Rotation turns that into an shield by high rotation providing force to deflect. It is like a dense tornado but instead of air it is chakra. Rotation would add the needed density to the chakra to try to block Ama.

Also the flames teleport to the object being focused on. It is kind of like a summoning. When it misses its target after appearing at the initial point, it then travels to whatever else the eye focuses on. I made a thread on why I think Ama is the way it is.

If it is too much for zetsu to absorb at once why is it not too much for amaterasu to burn at once, a layer with too much charkra to be burned at once becomes a layer under the amaterasu, push the layer off the flames come off with it.

Because Zetsu was obviously slowly absorbing Neji's chakra if Neji was able to notice and counter and then still be able to fight. Ama cannot be compared to Zetsu absorbing chakra in this manner. You still haven't come up with a counter argument to the amount of damage Neji would substain even if he was sucessful (also Neji would be naked lol)

Karins burns weren't so bad.

Just thought of something. Karin wasn't the target. Ama does so much damage its target because the flames surround and consume the target. She touched the flames for an instant and they got on her back. Fire burns up and she was face down the whole time, this minimized the damage done to her, and she still passed out from the damage.

If you are hit by it at all, the damage is great. Kakashi has no real way to counter it unless he hides in the earth or is able to Kamui it off of himself. Gai is fast as hell with gates open. Choji dies. Lee maybe able to avoid for a time. Hiruzen has to hide behind an mud wall or risk death. It is a one shot jutsu. If it doesn't cause death, then it causes people to pass out. Nagato had to regenerate the damage to move, it burned half of Sasuke's body, Karin passed out, it burned the Eight tails entire chakra body, Danzo had to Izanagi out of it, Ay had to cut off his arm ect. It is a MS jutsu for a reason, called the "strongest" ninjutsu like Tsuku is for genjutsu. It is a higher than top class jutsu that needs extraordinary ways to counter. Sorry but I don't think Neji has anything to actually stop from taking any damage at all from it. Which he would have to do or be defeated.

So Neji will know that it is coming and be prepared, if not he is a goner... Yes Kakashi can use his Mangekyo sharingan Kamui, Gai and Lee willout run it (as sasuke did for a while with his average speed against Itachi. Choji has wings now so he cld fly or even deflect it by flapping d wings... so its not impossible

The flames were on her for a lot longer than they would be on neji there is no other way that he would use to get the flames off, so he would not think of a way to get them off, even if he flames are not Amaterasu flames he will use body blow to dispel them not stop drop and roll xd.

BTW body blow does not need to be activated before neji makes the chakra layer.

Zest has been shown to rapidly absorb the opponents chakra, absorbing chakra would be faster than burning it due to the suction anyway.


Anyway the counter for damage is that it would be lowered due to the very little amount of time it takes for neji to make a chakra layer, I can give you scan which displays this feat of his, once the layer is formed he can constantly replenish it's chakra until he body blows.

someone else had made this same thread about saskue and neji and got flamed but yea neji is smarter than saskue and can counter most of his moves and if and i mean if neji can hit saskue before he uses susano neji wins the fight blocks saskues chakra points and he wont be able to use his moves plus neji has superior tiajutsu

Sasuke is faster than average and was only able to outrun it because Itachi didn't actually want to kill Sasuke, just injure him. Choji would die. He is not going to outfly or deflect it with chakra wings. It is not impossible... just extremely difficult.

For the Karin argument, It seemed long because it was dramatic thought process time and the way the flames were on here minimized damage.

Neji doesn't make a chakra layer, he pushes chakra out of his body. He has never sustained a thick layer of chakra around his skin. You are confusing maintaining a layer of chakra and constantly pushing it out.

I looked at your scans and it supports this.

If you decided to bring up other evidence....
To move Kidomaru's arrow an inch, he was constantly emitting/pushing chakra out of his body. He did not use just a set amount of chakra to put up molded chakra barrier around himself... he was constantly emitting it.

The webs. He pushed them off in an instant.

Zetsu. Pushed him off in an instant.

Naruto's punch in chunin exams. Pushed chakra out then started rotation.

In none of these instances did he create a barrier made from a set amount of chakra and then use that to push it off. Rotation is body blow with spin. The user constantly emits chakra while spinning to deflect physical attacks.

From what I see you explanation tells how he can get out of Amaterasu if he was ever burned with it not how to prevent it from hitting him, he isn't quick enough to reach to Amaterasu before it hits so he would only be able to stop it from killing him.

It doesn't really matter whether or not Amaterasu can burn chakra. That alone won't mean that Neji can't push it off. What does matter is how fast Amaterasu burns chakra. If it burns it any slower than how fast Neji can push it out, then Neji can push off Amaterasu, although it may take a while. As we saw when Itachi used the tech on Sasuke's grand fireball, the speed at which it burns chakra is limited. By contrast, there has never been any limit shown on how fast you can release chakra from your body. While there isn't conclusive evidence, it's both possible and likely that Neji can push off the black flames even if they do burn chakra.
