Analysis please, i have too many rp trainings going on rn.

Genjutsu is the illusionary arts. To trap someone in a genjutsu, you use your raw chakra to distrupt their chakra flow with your own chakra. By breaking their chakra flow, you distrupt their processing abilities, and as such, by manipulating your chakra, you can create almost anything for them to see, as the brain will only start processing what your chakra is allowing them to, instead of their regular chakra defining their senses. Genjutsu can be anything from making a tree appear when there is no tree at all, to creating massive demons that devour the opponent.

Genjutsu can be hard to counter, because without properly analyzing the illusion, it can backfire on you. Strong genjutsu users are dangerous because with the right level of description, you can make a genjutsu seem completely real.

Alright yeah, special Genjutsu users such as Kurama clan people can make the illusion they cast on you to be real, so that's quite troublesome. Anyway good, we'll be moving on to two techniques per post, and you analyze them with your words.

( Magen: Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu ) - Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10 (+5 if you use it double)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion over an area that allows him to manipulate the way an area looks to fool an opponent. He can only change the way the terrain looks, and not any other feature.

( Genjutsu: Kahen Tonsou ) - Illusion Technique: Flower Petal Escape
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, appearing to dissolve into a shower of cherry blossom petals. These petals surround the opponent, blocking his vision. This allows the user to mask his movement effectively.

First set is these. The first technique involves the user making the target believe the terrain has changed; the change is only limited to your imagination. But do keep in mind that's that the only thing you can do with this Genjutsu. The second one, however, requires a bunch of hanseals and you dissolve into a cherry blossom petals to confuse the opponent. Never found this appealing at all personally, though.

False surroundings is a genjutsu better used like, when the opponent isnt already familiar with the area around them. If you have a way of concealing yourself and having the first move, it can be a decent genjutsu to use early on. The gen itself is pretty simple, but can be complex. Changing anything from the location of a tree to adding and entire mountain range in front of your opponent. When used mid battle, you need to make subtle changes that are enough to throw off the opponent. One such example can be, while retreating, you can use the gen to make the opponent believe the landscape is slowly declining, making it look like you're decending down a hill slowly. If the decline is extremely slight, then after a few turns of retreating and countering, your opponent will, eventually, be sending jutsu down at the ground due to them thinking you're on an incline below them.

Yeah never much of a fan either. Its a simple illusion but it doesnt hold much merit. The handseals give it away the most, if it was handsealess i think it'd be better. As you vanish into the petals, the opponent loses track of you. Would be a good gen to use with a Clone, as once the movements are masked and you're striking them, the clone can get into a better position, but i dont personally see many practical applications on this one myself.

Neat.

( Genjutsu: Kasumi ) - Illusion Technique: Servant
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: The user does one handseal and throws a paper bomb at the enemy. The enemy, trapped in a genjutsu will see a clone of the user advancing upon him. As the paper bomb reaches the enemy, it explodes

( Kasumi Jūsha no Jutsu ) - Mist Servant Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This illusion creates numerous illusionary clones of the user that appear to emerge from the ground, trees, rocks, etc. If these clones are attacked, they appear to multiply. The user can co-ordinate his attacks with the clones to make it appear as if they are real.

The first one requires the user to make a handseal and throw a paper bomb. However, in the trapped opponent's point of view, he'll see a clone of the user who's rushing towards him. Whereas in reality, when the paper bomb approaches him, it will explode and deal some damage, lethal or not, depending on where you aim it.

Mist Servant technique enables the user to create illusionary clones from anywhere in a medium range reach which after getting attacked, seem to multiply. They can be great for diversionary strategies, combining your own attack with their moves as if they're real.

Simple technique, it's also short range which gives it a higher success rate than if you used it mid range. It's also kind of good because if you already have a clone out you can make it appear as if its that clone. On the flip side, as the handseal isn't mentioned, i feel like a viable way to counter this would be to distinguish the different handseals. As shadow clones use a specific handseal, you could argue that the opponent used a different handseal and summoned a clone, but even then, it leaves the question of what move would you use to counter it. Can be useful can be useless, depends on how well you've set it up and how well you describe it.

I feel like this technique would be best used while inside actual hiding mist or a similar vision hindering jutsu. As i think it's a little too easy to see through on its own. It also doesnt use a handseal, which in this case would actually be a benefit, of coarse you can add a blank handseal into it to make it more realistic, but if someones vision was hindered, it would make seeing through it a bit harder. Also smoke bombs would work well with this as well.

Good stuff, moving on.

( Magen: Narakumi ) - Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user performs two handseals causing it to appear as if a swirl of leaves surrounds the opponent. The swirl eventually falls away, and after a few seconds, the opponent sees the image of whatever they fear the most, shocking them and potentially causing them to faint.

After the performance of two handseals, you cause a swirl of leaves to appear around the opponent, circling them. After it dies down however, the next thing they will see will be the thing they fear the most. I have to say, this technique is heavily based on the relationships and personalities the characters have with each other. Should mostly be used on people your bio knows most things of.

(Genjutsu: Kawarimi ) Illusion Technique: Substitution
Type: Defensive
Rank: D-B Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 10-20
Damage: N/A
Description:
A simple technique, this genjutsu works solely as a defensive measure. The user will produce an illusionary copy of himself while he escapes the path/area of the attack with a rapid movement, unnoticed and masked by the technique. The enemy will see and hear the user in the original place until the attack connects with the illusionary copy, at which point it will disperse, revealing the true location of the user. The technique can be controlled so as to have the illusionary copy interact and talk in specific ways with the enemy for other purposes, while the user remains hidden from the targets perception. The illusion is often personalized from user to user, namely in its dispersion, sometimes in relation to the users elemental affinity or summoning companions, following a theme unique to him. The limitation is that the user cannot escape large techniques with this ability nor incredibly fast ones, since the escape is his movement and, as such, is limited to small scaled attacks or normal paced ones. Only techniques which can be escaped by moving out of their way running or through movement can be defended from with this. The main limit however, is that, since its a sustainable illusion, triggering any offensive action towards the target will immediately release the illusion, be it a simple taijutsu move or a ninjutsu attack; any aggressive action the user wants to take will immediately break his focus and control over the technique, releasing the target from it. The stronger the user is with the usage of Genjutsu, the more effective and strong the illusion will be and more times can it be used.
Note: This version can only be used by ninjas without a Sharingan.
Note: Genjutsu users can use the technique thrice per match, D-Rank; Secondary Genjutsu Specialists can use the technique four times per match, C-Rank; Primary Genjutsu Specialists can use the technique five times per match; B-Rank.
Note: Movement speed is bound by the users rank.

This Genjutsu is mainly used to evade small scaled attacks. It's multi-rank, so the higher the rank, the stronger the illusion this technique creates. When you are put againt an attack, you will cast an illusion on the opponent and produce an illusionary copy of yourself in your place, and you yourself will run away/hide/evade the attack. The opponent, trapped inside the genjutsu, will believe that he got you until his attack connects with you, at which point the illusion will disperse,, and reveal the true location of the user. You should sustain this illusion so that's a great disadvantage since you cannot do anything to trigger an offensive action; otherwise the illusion will break prematurely. Quite strategical and can be really hard to detect if used right, as it purely depends on the nature of the user.

I feel this is a useless genjutsu IMO. Firstly its short range, making it kinda hard in the first place. Secondly, the thing they fear most? I'll my main as a example. In his history he has died, and come back to life. As a general Rp personality, he's never had any fears. My bio doesn't fear death so even KI doesn't really work on him due to it, and its so easy to just say "i have no fears" or making the object they fear something stupid, like "Im really scared of spiders so i use chidori nagashi and woops, you where close range kekeke" Dont like it, too RNG and metagamey

I like this, has range and a decent ranking system. Main thing im thinking of is comboing this with Hiding im Camoflage. Could be a good combo to bail, use hiding and then begin a secondary assault from cover, but with everyone having sensory and stuff these days, i feel like with basic chakra sensory they would be able to sense your body moving away while looking at the illusion infront of them and being able to easily deduce thats the fact, and this could be very dangerous against a move such as False darkness where you can branch the lightning off. Use this technique against someone using FD and they have sensory they can just branch a piece of lightning off and pierce you and you'd lose, so even though its cool, current RP meta would hinder it alot.

Good work, moving on.

( Genjutsu: Kai ) - Illusion Technique: Release
Rank: C-S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15-40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.

The technique which helps you break out of an illusion. It requires a handseal, and this leads to you stopping and spiking your chakra flow up, resulting into a genjutsu break. Based on your rank, you can dispel the specified ranked Genjutsus. This technique however cannot do anything against MS or EMS genjutsus, paralyzation genjutsus or Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant.

( Kori Shinchū no Jutsu ) - Sly Mind Affect Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion on the opponent that makes them believe they are travelling in a straight line, when instead they are moving in circles. This is only effective on moving opponents. If the opponent travels in the circle for hours, they will be exhausted.
A dope technique in my opinion. I recall I used this one in my sensei test myself. Best used when your opponent begins to charge towards you. He will believe that he's traveling in a straight line, but in reality he's going in circles. This allows you to assault the distracted opponent.
