Why wont gray take that guy who turned them to children and make him turn ultear to her young age again .

I mean ever since ultear changed gray did not stop thinking about it even in this arc .

And surprisingly that guy who has the ability to turn them into children is deafeated by who ? By gray.
Doesn't that hint anything ?

I dont think is that simple, the magic reduced magic power, turning into children was colateral damage, who is to say that she wouldnt just be a small but still old lady, if I were him I would still give a shot, and he is probably thinking about it but truth be told even if it worked, her powers would be at minimum and her lifespaw wouldnt be affected, she would just look pretty again

I don't think that guy had to ability to do something like that. But as we've seen with other types of magic there are often different levels that can have drastically different effects. Since that magic was from the Book of Zeref its possible that there is a spell that can return Ultear to her young age. Maybe it'll get revealed later on and it will be used to corrupt Gray and try to turn him to the dark side.
