I mean, specifically what he says is i will send you to the same place as the 7th. It is assumed that it means naruto is dead and hes saying i will kill you, but we dont know what the events that led up to this are. We cant really say for sure that Naruto was killed yet, its totally possible hes not dead, just somehow incapacitated.

The way it was said makEs it seem like naruto is dead, and i kinda hope he is actually dead. Though he was so ridiculously OP i dont get how anyone could have possibly killed naruto. I would be a little disappointed if he gets taken down in a lame way.

I feel like the biggest prob. With boruto manga is the fact naruto and sasuke are so ridiculously OP that the thought of a villain they cannot defeat seems impossible. It almost seems necessary to take them out of the picture for Boruto and the other new characters to actually come and save the day. Thats why i wasnt that surprised that in the first few pages naruto is said to be gone.

Well Naruto is pretty much cooped out there and doesn't get to leave unless he has to.

It seems like Boruto had another tantrum which not only defaced the entire mountain side but the entire city as well.
So Naruto had sent Kawaki to retrieve his good for nothing son to meet his punishment.
