Am I the only one that actually likes TNJ?

I understand everybody's points in saying that a villain should not be naively deceived and follow Naruto's words. But aren't they being naive just by being too stubborn? To me TNJ is a deep message, showing that there's human in everybody, (yes, even Orochimaru). I do though however wish that Kishi could make a villain stay evil. I'm perfectly fine with Obito being TNJ'd as I want to see Team Minato fight together again, but Madara and Oro, I want to stay as Villains, specifically Oro. But yeah, who else like the concepts of a villain having a change of heart?

Well Nagato was just a villain to set up Tsuki no me, and showed Naruto that he still needs to get rid of the hatred in his heart, so in a way it was neccesary.

I think the problem I have with it is the very idea you brought up: it shows that there's human in everyone, and that because of this, they'll always turn "good." But the world isn't black and white like that; a lot of the time in disagreements, one side isn't totally good or bad, and villains can retain a strong element of humanity without letting go of their position or beliefs. Not to mention, plenty of negative emotions like fear, anger, hatred, resentment, etc. are all human in nature to begin with. If someone truly believes that what they are doing is right, or at the very least isn't morally wrong, it's silly for them to change their opinion just because some guy keeps repeating it to them. That's not the way it works in the real world.

He did it to show the whole 'child of the prophecy' concept of Jiraiya's students. He brought up the idea again when Nagato was Edo tensei'd, as Jiraiya was the masterpiece, Nagato was a failure, and Naruto is the redemption.
