Am I right in thinking EMS Sasuke would beat Itachi 9 times out of 10?

I hate to say this but if we not talking about edo Itachi, and we talking about prime itachi lol its game over for sasuke. Even at his current state itachi is still faster. All the fight itachi ever had with sasuke he has played around, we have never truly see itachi serious and fighting to kill. Having EMS doesn't mean a thing, it's all about a person knowledge and experiences and brains to think off their feet.

Itachi IQ is off the scale as well as Minato.
Please don't put people against these guys and expect them to lose just because the other character has a rare gift and OP skills. That like saying because Pein had rennigon, tobi did not kept him in check with a 3 star sharingon.

Before Itachi passed out and died did he not give him the power to activate it when he saw Tobis sharangan? If I am wrong then correct me, but I don't think I am. With that being said...it was given to him.

It was a sealing jutsu that wld react to Tobi's Sharingan and put him in Amaterasu. If u had read the chapter u wld notice that Sasuke's eye transformed into Itachi's MS, it was Itachi's power (like Kushina and Minato was in Naruto) while Sasuke can use Amaterasu on his own MS. See:

As a neutral person I can say that I agree to one point (or maybe I misunderstood something). Sasuke vs. Normal Itcahi (not edo) will result in Sasuke win. The only point sasuke would lose is strategy. Itachi is smarter, but that will not help against Sasukes Amaterasu, Susanoo' and the fact that itachi will go blind after a few minutes.

I don't know, i've seen alot of people say Itachi could beat Sasuke, but really?

1. Tsukuyomi is useless and easily countered by Sasuke's Mangekyou.
2. Sasuke has EMS and can outlast Itachi in a Susanoo duel, quite comfortably actually, because Susanoo takes a huge toll on Itachi.
3. Sasuke is more versatile.
4. Sasuke is much better at Enton than Itachi and can easily get rid of Itachi's amaterasu. Itachi strains whenever he moves a little bit, which is bad because Sasuke can easily spam amaterasu.
5. They are both smart, Itachi will not make Sasuke look like an idiot.

I really do think Sasuke > Itachi. What about you guys?

You are way off in sooo manii levels brother man.... you are right about tsukuyomi bein useless and ems lasting longer.... bt checc this out sasuke won jus BECAUSE itachi was already weakend dued to his sickness... if he was 100% sasuke would have gotten OWNED.... enton itachi owns sasuke the onlii difference is sasuke can actually form animals (lions)... amaterasu he onlii moved because he was already dying from his sickness which made it harder for him to concentrate... and it has been proven plenty of tiimes that itachi outsmarts sasuke for example the fight between them and kabuto if you realize itachi was the onlii 1 who was actually thinking of ways to defeat him which was successful... im not tryna say sasuke is weak bt him getting the ems doesnt mean he owns itachi.... Even though he was already weakend due to his sickness sasuke did beat itachi with jus a sharingan while itachi already had ms... sooo i believe that if itachi was 100% alive no sickness and sasuke had ems itachi would still own sasuke... think about it
