Alternate endings to Characters

If you could change any ending for a character (whether it be the character's death, or just how they ended towards the final chapters of the Manga), who would it be? And what would they be doing?

Madara would be defeated by Sasuke. A death by uchiha is a graceful death and Madara/ Sasuke can share words much better than ass pull BZ back shots.

Sasuke marries Karin

Naruto doesn't want to be hoKage anymore since he surpassed them and just becomes superman flying around helping everyone.

- I would've given Nagato a way longer and much deeper conversation with Naruto after he attacked Konoha. He also wouldn't have been brought-back with Edo Tensei later.

- Tsunade and Oonoki would've died in their battle with Madara.

- Obito would've died due to Madara's Rinne Tensei immediately after his fight with Kakashi (when Obito became Juubi's jinchuuriki).

- Jinchuuriki-Madara would've died after a long, equal battle with Naruto and Sasuke.

- No Ootsutsuki.

- Kakashi loses his Sharingan and does not temporarily get Obito's powers and a new eye from Naruto. He still wears the headband in his iconic style to cover the empty eye socket. He refuses to take the position of the Hokage, just like Jiraiya did.

- Sakura and Sasuke do not become a couple.

- Naruto would not get a "new" arm, instead he'd stay the same way as Sasuke.. and I'd have made him more mature at the end of the war, so that he could become the new Hokage after Tsunade died in the war, without Kakashi being a placeholder. Naruto would also get longer hair, like the "gutsy ninja" from Jiraiya's book. Image below.

VOTE2 would end with Naruto and Sasuke putting aside their differences, sitting down, agreeing to work together, and then beating the shit out of ghost Indra and Ashura, seeing as the entire plot is their fault.

Also, kill Gai. I like him, but 8th gate is meant to be lethal, and saving him ruins the whole thing. other than that, i don't want anyone else to be pointlessly killed off, as their deaths would mean nothing.

- Sasuke finally listens to Itachi and vows to help Naruto. He also fills Naruto in on Tobi's plan.

3.) Tobi reveals himself as Madara
- Yep, he emerges as the terrifying figure he said he was. Badass Madara and NOT sensitive, Rin-crazed Obito.
- He explains that he got Kamui by taking the eye from Obito's corpse.

4.) Naruto and Sasuke fight JJ Madara
- Madara summons the Juubi and preps IT.
- Only key players like Kakashi, Gai, Killer B, and the kages help. No fodder army.

5.) Madara loses and Gai Dies
- After some extreme struggle, the team wins
- The 8th Gate kills Gai
- Kakashi still has MS.

6.) No Transmigrants or Otsutsuki Clan
- Kaguya never exists
- Hagoromo never appears
- Transmigrant stuff never existed

That would be so bad if hagoromo didn't appear . Kishi have been forshadowing him since te beggining .

Sakura should have died in the Chunin Exams arc by some fodder ninja.

 

[Bad Touch Yakushi]

Killer Bee takes center stage, sacrificing himself as him and Gyuki bide time for the Hokage reinforcements to arrive. His jin being alive is pointless and counter-productive to the story, after this Obito attains 10 Tails Juubi Jin but the heroic rapping Bee went out like a hero, giving the alliance the time they needed.

Suigetsu Hozuki actually gives up on his goal of collecting the ninja blades and reunites the Seven Ninja Swordsmen.

After many chapters with him missing, Kakashi reappears from the Obito Kamui Dimension battle, dead- his corpse dropped by Obito. This is more relevant to the arc, the more likely outcome of the battle and Obito's 'crossing the line' moment that he taunts Naruto with. It's better than....Neji anyway.

BZ and Naruto have a much much longer talk after the Kaguya battle where we explore his interesting potential and explain the entire Kaguya element cohesively before Naruto punches him into the seal forever. The themes BZ represents are great but always kept too vague for the reader.

Also Sarada is obvious best Uchiha Hokage. But that's future tense, obviously.

edo akatsuki aren't trolled.

Sakura fights edo chiyo. Rock lee fights edo Kimimaro. Both beat their opponenets. They also defeat some swordsmen.

Sakura doesn't end up with Sasuke.

Obito has better motivations. Tobi being Obito was the best choice No need for him to be some old ass person like Madara or Izuna. The trope of "long dead" evil or characters being brought back is already hella overused in Naruto.

Kaguya never appears nor is BZ's Kaguya's will.

Obito transfers his powers to Kakashi while he is alive, not by shitting on the laws of life/death with kamui.

Guy dies from the 8th gate.

Neji doesn't die for a pairing, and he fights/surpasses his reanimated father. If he has to die it has to be actually meaningful.

JJ Madara dies after a hard battle with Naruto/sasuke, with a little help from Kakashi & Sakura.

No transmigrants BS.
