The world is but a bracket to hold you
The sun but a light to highlight your features
The moon but a background to see you against
The sea but a soundtrack to your existence

I have no words
No mortal tongue can convey my soul
My feeling is not a candle but an inferno that lights the world
And in every flicker of flame is you

I fear no more
I long no more
I want no more
For you are the beginning
And my end
And I can go happily with just the touch of your breath
What is there to fear when I have tasted everything upon your lips
Experienced all things upon the touch of your skin
Known all there is in your scent

When I fade, I fade with your face burnished in my eyes
And knowing all the world, will lament nothing but my distance from you
