You never cared about the Byakugan when it had some form of relevancy, but now all of a sudden, once it's such an irrelevant Kekkei Genkai, you want to blow it.

It's always been weak and overlooked due to it's weakness. And you guys have been making up these theories, about how the Gentle Fist and the Byakugan are somehow intertwined. I doubt for a fact that a Hyuga born in the Hidden Cloud without any Gentle Fist training will naturally know how to use it. Unless they're some genius.

All these made up facts are incredibly ridiculous. If the Byakugan was stronger than the Sharingan, why did it take the entire genocide of the Uchiha's for the Hyuga to be recognized as the strongest clan in Konoha. Thats what I thought.

wait arent they intertwined? because if not then why the hell did I start going crazy for the Hyuuga? All I remember. is that Hyuuga devised jyuuken to make use of yhe byakugan efficiently and that, with all the respect I can muster, is a feat.

Hyuuga have two kekkei genkais, the byakugan and the ability to expel chakra anywhere not just from the hands. that is why they devised jyuuken in the first place
Ao had byakugan but he didnt have jyuuken. Since he isnt a Hyuuga he cant utilise the fighting style.

Rotation and the 64 palm are secret arts that's only passed down to the main/heir of the Hyuga clan. It's not an innate ability.

Not really considering 1 he's the only branch member who knows it. 2. Hiashi said it's due to him being a genius. 3 Hinata never knew it she had to train to use it and never even mastered it till war arc.

True but i'd make them somewhat more versatile their taijutsu is already best in Konoha I'd give them elements plus an ability like gates which increase their chakra flow making them faster stronger etc.

1. him being the only one does not change the fact that he figured it out without help, meaning that it doesn't have to be taught

2.That's hiashi admitting that he lowballed him. Doesn't really change point 1

3.Hinata's inability doesn't remove the possibility.

The underlying point here is that as long as 1 person can figure it out on their own without any form of help or tutoring then at its root is can be self taught or considered innate. neji and himawari are examples enough. You can throw neji's dad in there as well. since he was said to rival hiashi despite being branch.

I remember this guy called Gai. He was cool. I remember this other guy, not Gai, his name was Madara. Gai the former guy almost killed the other guy with what, you ask? Taijutsu.

I'm saying there are deadly and versatile taijutsu styles that rival ninjutsus. In that context, Byakugan was associated with Jyuuken, the strength of the Hyuuga. WHy else would their non-ninjutsu clan be deemed as one of the strongest in Konoha if their taijutsu style is considered inferior to ninjutsu?

not innate? Neji learning it in his own slaps us in the face that it is inherent to Hyuuga blood, both main or branch and in his case, he was a genius to have learned it without being told about it. I don't see where you're going with this. A hyuuga can learn the aforementioned jyuuken technique. The main branch only happened to exclude the branch members from learning it to protect the bloodline.

If it were innate, it would be impossible to stop the branch family from learning it.

Do you not get what I'm saying? All KKG have levels of advancement. You think Hashirama was pulling out the Senju of 1000 Hands on day one? No, he was probably just growing branches and twigs out of his hands. You think Haku had mastery over ice element from the get go? Of course not. Same applies to the Gentle Fist. The base ability is there from the start, as shown by Himawari, but it can be further advanced. The Branch members not learning it is nothing short of techniques being kept a secret from them.

Figuring out something isn't the same as it being inherent in your blood. Neji's learning of it was based on him being a genius, not being based in his blood. Can you pull up a scan saying that he mastered it because of his genes?

If it could be accomplished by blood alone, then stopping the branch house from learning it would be pointless. Neji just managed to recreate it, which is stated in the scan.

existing in one from birth; inborn; native:

No Hyuga techniques are innate. Chakra can be innate, their eyes are innate, their bloodline is innate, but their techniques aren't. The key word you used in the Neji example, is that he Learned how to use forbidden techniques. He did not just know how to do it innately, otherwise there would be no need to learn. And no, him learning on his own cannot be considered innate, some people are just geniuses.

As well, the Hinata example actually kind of does remove the possibility. If it were innate, then she would either be incapable of doing it since birth, or she would know it from birth. If she was incapable, then they wouldn't have even bothered teaching her, if she was capable, she wouldn't need any teaching. It's like how Uchihas either have the Sharingan or they don't. They can't teach kids to get it.

An Uchiha can use MS techniques immediately after awakening MS because it's innately their ability. They do no have to learn anything.

I'm sure the only reason why it's being mentioned again is to show the connection it has to the sharingan, rinnegan, and ootsutsuki clan. The real threat here is the God curse seal they receive. Because kawaki doesn't have a byukagan and he's still as powerful if not more from what we know.
