Go read the Manga. Do you find in it anything that has happened in the anime or any validation for it? Forget the academy arc (confirmed canon) or the reference of the trip to the hidden mist , show me more than this that makes what happened so far in the anime canon.
There isn't. Therefore the anime needs MANGA validation and that is what you are making, you are showing us that in fact you agree with this. Until the Manga validates what happened, it is filler. There is no validation for everything, just a "little bit" and this little bit is in fact almost nothing and you throw a BIG PARTY around it.
Even the authors need to validate what is canon or not. I don't really need to post facts, the Manga is the bible.
You were expecting that the new writters would say "No, Kishimoto doesn't give a damn about the show"? Lmao. That would be the worst PR strategy ever.
Even Sumire, Iwabe and Denki are filler at this moment in time. They weren't even present at the Chunin exams drawn by Kishimoto, so where does this leave us? If Boruto is the continuation of Kishi Boruto "The movie", are we going to assist to a total retcon? Probably, does it make sense? No.
So screw you dude, we have our logic and the way we see things, Manga validates the anime.
The anime might be canon, it just needs Manga/authors validation, otherwise you would never make a big fuss about Boruto referencing it in the Manga.

Facts of what man? If it is not in the manga and stated by the authors as canon, it is filler. This is common sense for the canon concept.
About the little bit, the trip is canon, not the arc, until it is validated by the manga. I have said this before. You are agreeing with me and the others again.

They keep bring up names, sources, etc that aren't EXACT,that don't actually prove a point....to validate their point to convince everyone.
Canon/Filler...just some words. Manga-sourced animes, go based off of manga to be considered canon or actual events,...doesn't matter who wrote it or directed it...if it ain't manga-based...that's it. Doesn't matter what people say from "word of mouth".Don't care.
anime-sourced anime, however...is ALL CANON. Doesn't matter WHO is wrote the episode or directed it, it would all be considered canon.
BORUTO might be mostly anime-based, like DBS. If that's the case.
