All the fuss about knowing 1000 jutsus

Well technically that's not what I mean. I was wondering like how learning 1000 techs would make a better ninja.

They would be not only prepared, but also at a heightened advantage over almost any elemental ninjas, because they would find the jutsu that would be best against theirs.

Hiruzen was stated to be a genjutsu master had had thousands of them.. Kakashi wasn't at most he must have a 4 in genjutsu? idk, will check..

Who would fall victim faster to itachi's genjutsu? yea tsukyomi would screw them both over if they look, but you get my point

One of my points here is that; for example Kakashi is against someone like, let's say A. We only see A spamming his lightning armor. Sure Kakashi can shoot whatever jutsu he likes at A but again, that probably won't help that much.

If kakashi knew hidden mist jutsu he wouldn't get touched by A

Maybe A water jutsu like what the ninjas again i believe kakuzu etc used? to turn the battlefield into a sticky liquiid...

Maybe mud to slow down his movements...

You get what i mean? with a wide variety of jutsu a ninja can beat alot of people

It means you have the ABILITY to learn these techniqes and you have 1000+ Jutsu 9/10 times the ninja is going to be OVERFLOWING with chakra to use them with .U_U

I don't recall Kakashi to ever overflow with chakra.

Yeah I get you. But still, knowing a lot of techs won't really make you a super stand out ninja. Let's say Kakashi knew the 1000 techs without his Sharingan. He'll still have a hard time winning battles cuz one of the reasons why Kakashi is so good is cuz he's got the sharingan. The 1000 jutsus aren't really his wow factor but yes, they are useful.

1000 separate jutsu's can transfer into a whole lot of combination Jutsu's that he could just throw at you.

Distract you with one element, and then just straight hit you with another.

This is only good if like, what, you have Kisame-level chakra reserves?

Ok, we all know I'm talking about Kakashi and Hiruzen here since they're the only ones who are noted for having known a lot of jutsus. Seriously guys, I don't get the point of knowing 1000+ elemental ninjutsus (I'm assuming they're nature manipulation jutsus since you can't copy kekei genkais and stuff) maybe they copied a few taujutsus techniques too but psssh like that really matters, I bet neither both of them could copy Gai's high level taijutsus techs. What I'm trying to say is that, these people were mostly given credit for knowing a lot of jutsus, which I think is kinda cool sometimes but I think it's how you use a tech that really matters right? I'll use Shinra Tensei and come at me with your 1000 jutsus. What do you guys think?

knowing so many jutsu is cool but mastery and super control in few is better , naruto knows only few techniques , but he uses them effectively .

Sharingan cannot tell the difference between shadow clones and real ones. That much has been stated in part 1.. since the clones distribute chakra evenly, not even byakugan can tell....

Uchihas can be fooled by clones.. Kakashi fooled the double body clone Itachi with a shadow clone already....

As for who's smarter , we can't possibly know... no where was it stated that either was smarter.... We can't accurately look at their graduation years because Kakashi's time was different...Special ninjas were promoted faster to join wars..I'd like to think of them as equal in that department.. though Kakashi does have a 9 year + experience advantage..

Yep, Itachi should be able to see Kakashi on the underground just like how Sasuke saw Deidara's bombs.

Using clones, kakashi can more than trick Itachi... I'm not saying he'll win, but he's already tricked him into using his genjutsu on a clone once...
