He trapped Naruto in normal genjutsu just by Naruto looking at his finger. No eye contact at all!

Also Itachi's duplicate was using only Itachi's 30 percent chakra.

Byakugan + closed eye lids prevents any direct eye contact to itachi. In fact Neji can have his eyes point to the ground like gai does and still see where itachi is thanks to his 359 degree vision.

Kamui was over hyped on vs threads . People saying kamui gg , like kakashi has actually one shotted an enemy with kamui. But i dont think kamui has been nerfed. Obito uses his version all the time

Amaterasu wasn't nerfed, it was just overhyped and people ate up the hype, then they got disappointed when it didn't live up to it's hype.

But really, why would anyone expect it to? There is NO WAY anything in the series could possibly live up to the hype that Amaterasu got. It would quite literally one-shot everything in the series, even Kaguya. That cannot happen, but people really thought it would.
