To some extent, yes the Sharingan and Rinnegan are overpowered. But without it, plot no jutsu wouldn't be regarded as one of the strongest jutsu which would leave things quite boring, ya know?

Yes. . .YES! I whole-heartedly agree with this thread. Eye doujutsu are now dumb and over powered. I prefer the nice three-tome sharingan which is still pretty powerful. Being able to predict your enemies movements, seeing chakra, enhanced physical strength. and the ability to copy any jutsu by watching the hand signs alone. The MS is just dumb, and the EMS, the ability to spam the MS, is even dumber.

The abilities of the MS are too powerful, it's almost something you could see in a fanfiction.
Amaterasu burns everything it touches and apparently there are no ways to put it out (Some characters can absorb it)
Tsukuyomi can just mind rape anyone in the right hands.
Kotoamatsukami. . .Seriously?
Kamui. . . Just wow. Kakashi's first reveal wasn't TOO bad, but now it's. . .The entire Hachabi?!
Izanagi has a considerable downside, and I could live with this jutsu.
Izanami JUST NO. Hate this asspull. Made what could have been a good/great fight terrible. . . Right after damn flashbacks too! What a great way to welcome us all back into the fight. .

I am a bit biased towards the Rinnegan, though. . But I agree, it's too OP. Especially when the user can use all the paths together. I'd realistically limit it to . . A few paths.

Animal Path - Not too bad, just the ability to summon people/strong summons.
Preta Path - Ability to absorb ninjutsu, a bit too OP and has no weakness other than Sage Chakra.
Deva Path - For when it was introduced, it's not too bad if you have intel on it.
Asura Path - Again, not that bad of a path. But when stacked with the Preta Path the user is too damn strong!
Naraka Path - Doesn't have too many combat uses, not too bad.
Human Path - Insta KO. . . Way too strong.
Outer Path - Makes death meaningless and worthless, both to the characters and the readers.

I'd only keep the Deva, Animal , and Asura Path personally. . Not even allow the user to gain all five chakra types.

Senju DNA (Or more of Hashirama's) makes no sense and annoys me too. .

Though, I feel like another problem is that other kekkei genkai get no attention and are ignored. Haku's bloodline seems pretty powerful and versitile. Could bring back a character with that one, so what if they were all slaughtered? So where the Uchiha and how many characters have the Sharingan? Shikotsumyaku is another cool kekkei genkai, same with the explosion release (Needs to be toned back a bit, it's also pretty OP).

Gold release, The Iron sand, magnate release, lava and boil release. . The Byakugan could have gotten some attention from Neji, he was said to be a genius. .

People are allowed and should be encouraged to dissect stories and criticise them, it doesn't mean they don't enjoy the show any less. I'm sure everyone here loves the show just as much as you do but any way you look at it the things I listed ARE problems.

Yeah this is true everything is not perfect and there is nothing wrong with critisizing it; there are many positive sides of it that's why we are still reading it.
But some people are raging over critisizm far worse.

not all problems; but i high amount of them are caused by them.
I will give some examples and their over hype aswell:
-sasuke being as fast as lee in 1 month: So; kishi needs to give a power-up to his beloved sasuke? Why not take the speciality the guy who worked for it for years?! Yeah that seems like justice to me; and it also has a good message: "geniuses can what you have worked for in you whole life in a short amount of time!!!" just perfect; we will use sharingan's abilities as plot device...
-itachi vs kurenai: You are a genjutsu specialist? Does not matter how much skilled you are; i fodderize you in an instant.
- itachi can paralyze and mind f**k shinobis like orochimaru and kaksahi in an instant; he ain't even tried!
-somehow all mofokas have monsters, some frikkin dna or eyes to be op; they are just eyes; how much more they can be hyped? Sharingan copying techs? Fine, i can understand it; but how come creating a monster like susanoo related to it? Or making never-ending burning flames? Or izanami-izanagi? A pair of eyes are giving you a life? An eye does not seem much of a loss to me in exchange of a life; and none of the characters i saw had to be a ninja with 1 or no eye for a recognisable amount of time...

Sadly yes; i really like Naruto manga, but certain things are really odd.
I missed the possibility that every ninja could be really strong without a beast, weird-ass eyeballs or Senju hack DNA.(There are examples for strong ones, but there are nowhere near the level of the holders of these)

The most annoying things about it for me are that literally nobody 1v1 who doesnt have one of these magical eyes can even dream of competing, no matter what their style is or how well matched they are.

Also it produces infinite Itachi and Kakashi fanboys based on the fact that their powers are endless and ambiguous, meaning nobody can ever truly prove that Itachi in fact CANT solo the Sage of Six Paths because the manga seems to tell them otherwise!

I lump the eye techniques with Senju DNA...

They were used at first to answer a few questions and add to the power scales a bit. But now they are the answers to everything and the power scales are out of whack.

How many broken techniques we have so far?

Amaterasu - If you can't dodge, peace out!
Tsukuyomi - You're screwed
Susanoo - ... Beyond screwed
Kamui - Seriously, kishi? Unless you somehow have the other eye you are screwed. Even if you do have Obito's second eye, you're probably screwed.

Rinne Tensei - SOOO BROKEN
Shinra tensei - I like this one, not too broken considering there is a time interval
Chibaku tensei - Kind of broken, but whatever
The other techs are ok.

i agree with the first sentence. at least the uchiha's have restrictions and consquences if you over use your eyes.

If your a senju named hashirama you can troll logic and all reasoning.

Sometimes I just don't blame them though, their beloved characters and their abilities aren't given limits or explained logically- usually people will just c/p quotes from other unrelated characters like Zetsu saying that Itachi is invincible, based on nothing. Take something like that out of context and you're always going to have Itachi obsessed idiots bickering over how supreme he is. Kamui is just an annoying power altogether really.

Maybe if you weren't such a Hashirama fanboy and weren't EXACTLY what this thread is about then you'd see. People like you only like the flashing colours and strongest character of the month, I wouldn't expect you to understand this :')

Also not everyone has to use the OP techniques OBVIOUSLY, that would make them not OP. It's the fact that so few call themselves elite and are untouchable (also **** with the plot) just because they happen to be blessed with special eyes. Hashirama's the same, having Senju DNA now apparently makes you hercules and is the new susanoo for no more reason than to have a 'new strongest 'badass' character of the month for all the dumb fans to argue over'. Which is bad writing.
