OT:Agreed but to be fair the characters you mentioned have trained for their power.

Not all problems; but i high amount of them are caused by them.
I will give some examples and their over hype aswell:
-Sasuke being as fast as Lee in 1 month: So; Kishi needs to give a power-up to his beloved Sasuke? Why not take the speciality the guy who worked for it for years?! Yeah that seems like justice to me; and it also has a good message: "Geniuses can what you have worked for in you whole life in a short amount of time!!!" just perfect; we will use sharingan's abilities as plot device...
-Itachi vs Kurenai: You are a genjutsu specialist? Does not matter how much skilled you are; i fodderize you in an instant.
- Itachi can paralyze and mind f**k shinobis like Orochimaru and Kaksahi in an instant; he ain't even tried!
-Somehow all mofokas have monsters, some frikkin DNA or eyes to be op; they are just eyes; how much more they can be hyped? Sharingan copying techs? Fine, i can understand it; but how come creating a monster like Susanoo related to it? Or making never-ending burning flames? Or izanami-izanagi? A pair of eyes are giving you a life? An eye does not seem much of a loss to me in exchange of a life; and none of the characters i saw had to be a ninja with 1 or no eye for a recognisable amount of time...

Doujutsu started out good but then became so overpowered. Honestly kishi should have kept them basic.

3T seemed overpowered when Sasuke fought 9 Tail Naruto.

Sharigan users earn their abilities by killing ones closest to them, which seems like an even heavier price to pay than months or years training. Even in the beginning of part 1 the hyuga clan was look at as overpowered, the rinnegan/sharigan are just on another level as is EVERYTHING in part 2.

I'll agree the EMS eye switching does seem more of a stretch than anything else.

I agree, the powerups come with a terrible price.

I concur. The original Sharingan (all the way up to 3T) I was okay since it wasn't too OP. It was strong but not OP but the Mangekyou, Rin'negan are and in addition - they're so prominent in the manga it's annoying. The scale of the battles are so unrealistic and honestly look at the top 5 - all of them are Uzumaki, Senju or Uchiha. Top 10? Other then Minato and Kabuto (Kabuto has Uzumaki DNA and Minato got taught by one) all of them also follow this. It's annoying how no ninja has a chance unless they have a dojutsu or are Senju/Uzumaki blood.

You never see Itachi suffering because of his stamina, you never see Nagato completely draining his lifespan trying to kill Naruto, you never would see Itachi or Madara going blind. In the way of the narrative, these abilities serve their purpose and leave- making them in context, costless.

It did? I thought it was fair, Sasuke needed it to go head to head with the 1 tail Kyuubi. It just made his reflexes better didn't it?

That IS just one eye power though. And it really doesn't impact the plot as we never knew Itachi and his friendships. It's a cheap way for Kishi to unlock higher level jutsu that make the story go quicker and the way he wants.

Kamui and Rinnegan don't need those things either.

But that doesn't really matter when there are characters like Shisui, Obito, Sasuke and even Itachi who are basically handed the MS. (Granted we don't know shisui's story, and sasuke did believe he was in danger and wasn't supposed to find out itachi's motives, but the point remains.)

i agree,i feel like MS,EMS rinngan powers are just cheat codes meant to keep uchihas alive,what's worse the way they get it: "awakened" a term used mainly in games to describe a sudden burst of power in order to be able fight in next level of the game since the enemies got stronger.
jutsus are supposed to be created,not awakened,the problem is that they get handed OP moves through the lamest cliché:the power of idk love or hate,so imma call it the power of butthurt since it seems more convenient.
as for people who say "OMG!they've paid a price someone close died!" i say everyone lost someone close so why didn't they have a sudden power-up?

I also agree completely. the invasion of Pain arc was completley raw and awesome, the Rinnegan was freshly used, sharingan didn't spam as much as it usually does, Naruto with sage mode and new techniques were explicitly valuable, but now the dojustu's are spammed, the sharingan is OP, Rinnegan is " God himself " jutsu, and sadly naruto barely uses sage mode anymore.

All in all, Kishi shouldv'e evolved the characters themselves, not their Dojutsu power.
