It's not a Muslim ban it's strong vetting process. If it was a Muslim ban then muslims from other nations wouldn't be allowed in

"Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate." Trump has a record low approval rating. It took George Bush over 1300 days to get that low. It took Trump 8 to get that low.

America disagrees with you, and the majority of the world for that matter.

how quickly the fallback argument came along.

How is still allowing Muslims into the country a Muslim ban?
A Muslim ban would entail all Muslims are banned, Which they are not.

My comment explained it already.

It's kind of like how Nazis executed gays but gave a pass to Nazi individuals for being gay.

Look at all the rapes in Germany and the rest of Europe, then come back to me and tell me if you want a bunch of immigrants from terror-hotspot countries to come here in large numbers.

It literally can't be a Muslim ban if Muslims from other counties can enter the U.S. And I don't see the point in bringing up the countries tied to the 9/11 hijacking unless you in favor of them also being banned.

So explain to me the reason of the ban in those specific countries and not the ones that caused terrorist attacks?

Honestly, you expect me to believe that you were a Bernie supporter when you've only defended Trump?

"The executive action, 'Protecting The Nation From Foreign Terrorist Entry Into The United States,' targets seven nations: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. Trump has no business interests in those countries.

One other thing they have in common, as NPR's Greg Myre writes: 'No Muslim extremist from any of these places has carried out a fatal attack in the U.S. in more than two decades.'

The 19 terrorists in the Sept. 11 attacks were from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates, Myre points out. They are among the Muslim-majority countries not affected by Trump's immigration freeze, but where Trump does business.

He has significant commercial interests in Turkey and Azerbaijan, is developing properties in Indonesia and Dubai, and has formed companies in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. His daughter Ivanka said in 2015 that the company was looking at 'multiple opportunities in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Saudi Arabia — the four areas where we are seeing the most interest.'"

The ones that caused the terrorist attacks don't have any immigrants fleeing from them.

So why aren't the terror-hotspots banned?

They are.

Have you not seen the utter chaos and destruction in Syria and Iraq? Jeeze, it's terrible. Obama created this list in the first place, and was the first to implement a similar law, so if you want to criticize Trump you'll have to do the same to Obama.

You just admitted that they weren't in your other comment.

But Obama didn't implement the law in the 8 years he's been in office. Trump implemented it in his second week.

U.S. vetting process is one of the most strict in the world. So you can't even compare that to the Germany and the U.K.

Obama did implement the law, but it went unnoticed by the uncaring populous of America.

Trump promised this, and is fulfilling his promises unlike someone we're speaking of as of right now.

You just admitted that the countries that acted out terrorist attacks on the U.S. weren't banned already though.

And no he didn't. Trump signed the executive order for it.

Alternative facts aren't real facts.

Yes, he did.

We aren't banning the countries based on their past actions, we're banning them based on the actions of the immigrants coming from them. This isn't a matter of "hah we're getting you back", it's a matter of "sorry, we see that this is a trojan horse and we can't take the risks".

Again, I'll say this one more time.

The countries that have been banned haven't had a fatal terrorist attack on the U.S. for more than two decades.

None of the 9/11 hijackers were from those countries.

That's not what the ban is based off of. Are you paying attention? No offense.

We've banned these countries because of the brutal rapes and sexual assaults that these immigrants displayed once given the chance to go to Europe. And top that off with the behavior they showed, where they were more loyal to their religion to the their own country and it's citizens.

I've already told you this. U.S. vetting is much more stricter than Germany's and the U.K. We have refugees in the U.S. and no terrorist act has been committed by them.

Terrorist acts committed against the U.S. are not from any of those countries for more than two decades.

Based on the chaos and violence in these countries, and the actions of the immigrants from those countries, we've decided not to let them in. Terrorist attacks against us are not the basis of the ban. It's not an act of vengeance.

No, Trump's excuse for it not being a religious ban was explicitly stated to keep terrorists out.

You're also referring to the Syrian refugees. What other countries on the ban list have had massive refugee crisis that caused violence and chaos in Germany and the U.K.? None.

It's already known that Trump has business interests in the countries he didn't ban. Hence, my analogy to Nazi persecution of gays but looking the other way for gay Nazis.
