Results matter far more than simply being liked. There's more to being a leader than simply being liked.
My point was, as long as he gets the results that benefit america as a whole, The people disliking or not him means jack shit.
And like I said, it's not a popularity contest. A person's view of the way the government is run is not the same as liking people on a forum.
The government is supposed to be for the people and by the people. If the government doesn't do a good job of representing the people, then they are not doing their job right.
And right now there is major civil unrest in the U.S.
So what has trump done so far that has so radically affected peoples lives? I don't live in murca so please inform me.
-Well for starters, the Muslim ban.
-Then he made it harder for people to get mortgages and also raised the bill for the people who do.
-He's continuing the Keystone XL and North Dakota Access pipeline construction when they were halted by Obama after vigorous protests where the native's rights were violated.
-He's planning on repealing Obamacare without a replacement, which ironically, many of his supporters now hate him for it because they either didn't realize that the ACA and Obamacare are the same thing or didn't think he was serious.
-He's planning on cutting social security and medicare, which again, wildly unpopular even among his base, especially since he promised he won't.
He signed off on the construction of the Mexican border wall, which Mexico is not paying for, but rather our taxes are now going up, up, and up.
That's just to name a few.
@ Bold
No shit Sherlock, Best not to compare obama's what 8 or so years to trumps what a week or so?
@Bold: I'm not the one who started comparing the two.
