If you're disliked by the people you are supposed to govern, then you're not a good leader.
Well, i don't like you. What does that say about you then?

You're an idiot, that's what.

What makes you a good leader is being a good leader, not wether people like you or not. Jesus Christ this like common sense dude, are you for real? :pick:

Results matter far more than simply being liked. There's more to being a leader than simply being liked.
My point was, as long as he gets the results that benefit america as a whole, The people disliking or not him means jack shit.

We're not talking about a popularity contest here where people base it on looks or personality, but rather how the presidency has affected their lives.
So what has trump done so far that has so radically affected peoples lives? I don't live in murca so please inform me.

Sure Obama may not have been the most hands on president, but you give him too little credit. Obama created millions of jobs which helped us get out of the Great Recession, something Trump has to live up to.

No shit Sherlock, Best not to compare obama's what 8 or so years to trumps what a week or so?

So? Of course she would oppose him, she's what's left of Obama's administration, it's basically her job to impede Trump's actions since it's clear there is no peace between the two sides, now less than ever.

If you're disliked by the people you are supposed to govern, then you're not a good leader.
The idiocy...

Obama banned people from Iraq coming to the US for 6 months and nobody cared about it. But Trump doing something similar and something he even promised is somehow bad.

He is more honest than I expected and I wish the best for him and the people of the USA.

Were people who already had green cards affected?

The guy banned people based on political alliances not risk factor. Islamic extremists come Saudi Arabia, PAKISTAN, and Afghanistan as well.

When's the last time an Irani blew himself up on American soil? There is no ISIS, no taliban, or anything in Iran but he's just pandering to Israel when Iran has plenty of people that could and do benefit the U.S.

I read in news that chief of Staff Reince Priebus clarifyied on Sunday that it did not ban green card holders from entering the country. So either the language of the order passed was not clear enough or they added the clarification seeing the chaos it caused. Let's hope the crisis in your country will be resolved soon one way or another as the law suits are also filed.

In December 2015, President Obama signed into law a measure placing limited restrictions on certain travelers who had visited Iran, Iraq, Sudan, or Syria on or after March 1, 2011. Two months later, the Obama administration added Libya, Somalia, and Yemen to the list, in what it called an effort to address "the growing threat from foreign terrorist fighters."

The restrictions specifically limited what is known as visa-waiver travel by those who had visited one of the seven countries within the specified time period. People who previously could have entered the United States without a visa were instead required to apply for one if they had traveled to one of the seven countries.

Under the law, dual citizens of visa-waiver countries and Iran, Iraq, Sudan, or Syria could no longer travel to the U.S. without a visa. Dual citizens of Libya, Somalia, and Yemen could, however, still use the visa-waiver program if they hadn't traveled to any of the seven countries after March 2011.

-

While I don't know WTH Trump hopes to achieve with such a ban, he seem to have picked the names of the countries from Obama.

You're comparing the public's reaction to a leader who affects their lives to someone who you argue with on a forum.

Not even remotely equivalent.

It's rare to see a leader who governs the country well, disliked by the majority.

The fact that you can't discern this means you are an idiot.

And like I said, it's not a popularity contest. A person's view of the way the government is run is not the same as liking people on a forum.

The government is supposed to be for the people and by the people. If the government doesn't do a good job of representing the people, then they are not doing their job right.

And right now there is major civil unrest in the U.S.

So what has trump done so far that has so radically affected peoples lives? I don't live in murca so please inform me.
-Well for starters, the Muslim ban.

-Then he made it harder for people to get mortgages and also raised the bill for the people who do.

-He's continuing the Keystone XL and North Dakota Access pipeline construction when they were halted by Obama after vigorous protests where the native's rights were violated.

-He's planning on repealing Obamacare without a replacement, which ironically, many of his supporters now hate him for it because they either didn't realize that the ACA and Obamacare are the same thing or didn't think he was serious.

-He's planning on cutting social security and medicare, which again, wildly unpopular even among his base, especially since he promised he won't.

He signed off on the construction of the Mexican border wall, which Mexico is not paying for, but rather our taxes are now going up, up, and up.

That's just to name a few.

Actually it is since Trump explicitly stated that he would prioritize Christians coming in and not Mulsims.

Trumpanzees showing how much of a monster they've become.
It isn't though.
Muslims can still enter the country, Just not the ones from certain countries. Ones which are believed to have links to terrosim. Then you have countries who have very large muslim populations that are still allowed to come to the US

The whole "muslim ban" thing is just a buzz word and People are eating that shit up as per usual.

It's still a Muslim ban.

Trump already stated he's prioritizing Christians over Muslims.

Rudy Gulianni admitted that this was indeed a Muslim ban and that Trump was asking how to do it legally, because the basis of it is already illegal.

The countries that have been banned haven't had a terrorist attack on the U.S. for over two decades. All of the people responsible for the 9/11 hijacking have come from the countries that aren't banned.

Talk about eating shit.

I don't think there's anything wrong about this. She has her own opinion about this and it conflicts with her position at her job, the best thing to do is part ways.

It literally can't be a Muslim ban if Muslims from other counties can enter the U.S. And I don't see the point in bringing up the countries tied to the 9/11 hijacking unless you in favor of them also being banned.
