Im not sure why people are talking nonsense about the time it takes. Fact is apart from the elite of ninja's like edo madara, tobi, nagato, hashirama and bm naruto, itachi has more than what it takes to defeat any other opponents even without izanami, because of his other techniques. If it comes down to it, he has more than what it takes to hold off his other opponents apart from the top5 above and use izanami if needed.

Itachi was already cream of the crop before izanami

Lol I watched that film and started having dreams about it.. I actually thought it was real.. I had a dream inside a dream and I was so confused.. I had to go downstairs and splash water on my face to make sure I wasn't dreaming, it was mad!

because izanami only flaw is the time for the jutsu to be ready, and haters speculate about how much time needed for it to be prepare U_U

Every Jutsu has a weakness. So IZANAMI has a weakness.

Plus Before landing a hand on Kabuto, Itachi was already cut in pieces by Kabuto. Thanks ti Edo-Tensei, he is alive.

The time require to activate IZANAMI is the biggest weakness

Itachi is just outside of the top 5(6 for me as I still include Kabuto) himself. Those would be the only people he would need Izanami for but he wont be able to pull it off by himself. Anyone below Kabuto, Madara, Tobi, Nagato, Naruto and Hashriama he wouldn't need Izanami, he already has more than enough to beat the rest. That's why I don't think Izanami would make a difference to his rank.
