You might wanna watch that over. Pain NEVER killed Kakashi, he died after being drained of his chakra after using Kamui twice.
Once on that rocket that was aimed for Chouji and once for that pin thing that Pain flicked at him.

obviously not. if it was so we would know. sasuke didn't kill his best friend to get ms. so OBVIOUSLY you can get ms in more than one incredibly specific way. and only Mr. Kishi knows how. in my opinion you just have to go through an incredible emotional tragedy.

but Kakashi already went through every emotional tragedy he could. everyone close to him was dead. all I'm saying is, people seem to ignore that it's Obito's sharingan, and so Kakashi should go through something that would be an emotional tragedy for Obito, and not neccissarily Kakashi. it could've had not effect on Kakashi, and therefore, it's not worth mention as it would be lame to watch, and so we haven't seen it.
