I actually just came across some translations at long last. It's very jarring, because according to TakL and OrganicDinosaur, the Hyugas aren't Hamuras descendants.

Yeah, but The Last databook apparently says they are not his descendants. Maybe by saying she has Hamura's blood, she means they share the same Byakugan that originates from Kaguya, hence, same blood.

It was stated in the movie I believe, that Hamura took a family to the moon and a branch stayed on Earth.

No that was never said. But I guess we will just wait to have it cleared up soon, maybe when Toneri gets involved. Because the Hyuga not being Hamura's descendants would be so weird.

Since Orochimaru is now a good guy, I think if we do get an Edo Neji, it will be by one of the Kara members. Maybe Ao got some of his DNA after surviving the Juubi Bomb.

If Neji does get a fight, they should have it so his Caged Bird seal was nerfing him by 50%. That way, Edo Neji would be far stronger than his living form and would display far more powerful, new feats. Otherwise, 18 Y/O Neji fighting on par with33 Y/O Hinata would just fuel the haters :lol
