If you actually retcon everything from Hinata character, I guess? Same for Sasuke, they are literally incompatible, not saying they aren't sharing similarities though. It's not like I haven't tried to read some fanfiction about SasuHina, I just don't visualize them together.

We could trade sasuke for Neji in team 7. Imagine Neji being cold and not opening up until Hinata vs Neji battle then Naruto vs Neji. It would make sense. But then it would be hard to adjust sasuke on any other team, and the series would not continue since part 2 was all about bringing sasuke back.

Neji had so much potential as character. He was ok in part 1 with decent screen time and awesome fights against Hinata,Naruto and Kidomaru.
I still remember all that early part 1 hype. First we saw how Rock Lee easily defeated Sasuke and Naruto and later we learned that this same Lee is nothing compared to Neji. He was said to be Konoha strongest genin, Kakashi admiting Sasuke would not have chance against him and Kankuro saying they are 2 monsters in chunin exams one was Neji and other Gaara.
Not to mention he was genius even among Hyuga clan.
Sadly in part 2 he got completely ignored he didn´t have any big relevancy in story , screen time or even a decent fight.Kishi was thinking I made him the only Jonin in early part 2 ,that is enough to show others how superior he is.And of course almost pointless and random death.

Am I dumb for thinking that Sumire´s real personality isn´t the one displayed during Nue attacking Konoha and other stuff in another dimension ???

Thank you, you restored my faith in humanity considering I saw 4 members thinking the opposite.I figured out if that is what they think then arguing with them over this matter would be pointless.

She's still not Hinata 2.0. No character in Narutoverse is 2.0 of another character just because they're similar in some way. Just like how Sai is not Sasuke 2.0. There could be several similarities, but in the end, they think differently and react differently to situations. For instance, Hinata wouldn't be brave enough to go toe to toe with Mitsuki or have the heart to do something as ferocious as destroying a village.
But if you wish Sumire to be a representation of Hinata, you can wallow in that perception if that pleases you. I'll not stop you.

Kishi said the series would've ended in its first 10 weeks if it wasn't for Sasuke.
Sasuke pretty much carried the story, because it would've ended without him.

That's really sad tbh. I'm still salty about his death. We didn't even get fillers after his death was animated, and on his birthday there was new opening released they removed him from there.
If Neji had gotten enough development he'd have stomped Sasuke, I really wanted to see Neji vs Sasuke. I was 100% sure Neji would have won.
Why did only Neji die? Why not kiba or someone more close to Naruto. Neji wasn't that close to Naruto no matter how I look at it.
Imagine if Hiashi died in Neji's place and handed the responsibility of the clan to Hinata, and also asked her to free the clan, even if Hiashi didn't die and some fodder did it would have been better. I would have liked to see Hiashi vs Neji after war.
How strong he would have been without the seal. And then he would have become Bolt's and Himawari's trainer.
Part 1 Neji was the most awesome Genin among the participants. He reached jounin rank in no time. By the time Bolt was born he would have made it to an Anbu, sadly it's just a part of our imagination now.
I really hope we get Neji flashback's or Neji's ghost helping Bolt somehow.
